Thank you for trusting us with these six unspoken requests. God knows each one completely even before we speak it, and He hears with perfect wisdom and tender care.
We will join our prayers with yours and with the prayers of the church for you. It is a good and necessary thing to ask for the prayer of others, and it is also needful to remain watchful ourselves. We need both God's grace and our own faithfulness as we walk with Him, not one without the other.
You do not need to explain every detail for God to act. His providence reaches to all things great and small, and He orders all things for the good of those who love Him, even when we cannot yet see how. Our part is not to put God to the test or demand proof of His power and care, but to trust Him whether His answer comes as we hope or in another way that His wisdom knows is better.
Prayer is a great weapon and a sure protection for each day. We encourage you to make God favorable to you by prayer in the morning before you go out to the tasks of the day, and again at night, committing each of these six matters to Him. He is not distant. He is the One who makes His sun to rise and sends rain, who clothes the grass of the field, and who cares far more for you.
So we pray for you now that the Lord who knows what is unspoken will work in each of these six requests according to His perfect will. Where there is need, may He provide. Where there is burden, may He give peace. Where there is confusion, may He give wisdom. Where there is sin or struggle, may He give repentance, forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, and strength to walk in obedience. Where there is waiting, may He teach trust. We ask that He will do what is most for your true good and for His glory, and that He will give you grace to receive His answer with faith and to do your part faithfully while you wait.
