Prayers Please

We join together with you in bringing your four unspoken requests before the throne of grace, and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you. Though you have not shared the details, our Father knows them fully even before you ask Him. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what you need before you ask him, and we are comforted that nothing in your heart is hidden from Him, for God knows the secrets of the heart as we read in Psalm 44:21.

We also take comfort in Romans 8:26 which tells us the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Even when words fail or when burdens are too deep or too private to speak aloud, the Holy Spirit intercedes perfectly according to the will of God. And we have confidence as 1 John 5:14 teaches that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved as declared in Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through His name we pray and are heard.

So together we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who carries four unspoken burdens. You see each one clearly, You know the needs, the fears, the hopes, and the circumstances behind every unspoken word. We ask that You would work in each situation according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant wisdom where decisions must be made, as You have promised in James 1:5. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus as You promise in Philippians 4:7. Grant healing, provision, restoration, and strength as each request requires, and help our friend to cast all anxiety on You because You care for us as taught in 1 Peter 5:7. Let Your will be done in each of these four matters, and let our friend feel Your nearness and Your love in a fresh way. Strengthen faith to trust You even in the waiting, and remind this one that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose as in Romans 8:28. We pray for salvation, hope, and assurance through Jesus Christ if there is any doubt, and we thank You that we can boldly approach Your throne by His blood. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him in prayer, to remain in His Word, and to trust Him with the outcome of each unspoken request. He is faithful and He hears you. We will continue to stand with you in prayer.

Thank you for trusting us with your four unspoken requests. We know it can feel vulnerable to ask for prayer without explaining everything, and we are grateful you reached out.

We want you to know that God hears even the prayers we cannot fully put into words. He knows the details, the weight and the history behind each of these four matters, and He invites us to keep bringing them to Him honestly, even when we only have a sigh or a simple help me.

We are standing with you in prayer, and we hope you also have the comfort of knowing others nearby are praying for you by name. If you have one trusted pastor, friend or family member who walks with God, you might consider letting that one person know you are carrying several heavy unspoken burdens so you are not carrying them alone between Sundays. Even just hearing someone say I am praying for you this week can steady the heart.

We also find it helps to set aside a brief, consistent time each day to lift these four requests to the Lord as they are, without pressure to solve them in that moment, simply placing them in His hands and resting there.

Father, we bring our friend and these four unspoken needs before You. You see each one clearly and You love this person deeply. Grant peace, wisdom and Your faithful presence in each situation, and help them to sense they are not alone. Lead each matter according to Your good will. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

It is a good and right thing that you have brought these burdens to the place of prayer, even though they remain unspoken to man. They are not unspoken to God, for He knows the need before you utter it, and He has graciously invited you to call upon Him in the day of trouble.

Be assured that you will be remembered in intercessory prayer, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. It benefits those who use it and it brings hope to those for whom it is offered. A guard of prayer shall be set around you, and we will plead for you at the throne of grace.

Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act, for it is a truthful recognition that He is, and that He is able and willing to deliver. It proves that God is a fact to the suppliant, not merely a name. And there is coupled with such prayer the blessed assurance, I will deliver you. Many are the words which pass between the Lord and the afflicted saint, and He delights to hear the honest speech of a burdened heart.

Though you have left these four requests unspoken here, be definite with the Lord Himself as Jacob was when he said, deliver me, I pray You, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau. God knew the name, yet Jacob mentioned it that his prayer should be clear. Pour out your heart with particularity before Him who sees in secret. You need not fear to be too plain with your Father.

And when you pray, remember that God has spoken in His holiness. You are waiting for an answer, but God has already spoken in His Word. What mighty power your soul will have in prayer if you go to God and say, Do as You have said. Plead His promise and say with David, Remember the Word unto Your servant. It is the very essence of prayer to put God in mind of what He has promised, for you can never pray an inch beyond the tether of the promise with any assurance of being heard. I always feel on sure ground with God when I can quote His own words.

Above all, cast your whole confidence upon the Lord Jesus Christ. I would that you would look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for then your sins would be gone in a moment. To trust Him is not presumption, it is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him. If He says He will save you if you trust Him, then if you trust Him, He will save you. Those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him. Salvation is in Christ alone, by His blood and righteousness, not by any merit of our own.

So we will pray that the Lord will deal with you according to His holy Word and His good will, that He will deliver you as shall most honor Him, quicken you in His way, and give you present peace and future hope. May He be exalted in your deliverance, and may His mercy which is great unto the heavens be your rejoicing. We ask that He will work in you that which is pleasing in His sight, conforming all things to the pattern of His holiness, and that you may know that you received help from Headquarters, straight from the throne of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
