Prayers please

We hear your request for prayer for five unspoken needs and we count it a privilege to lift them before the Lord with you. Though you have not shared the details, our Father knows them fully even before you ask, for Matthew 6:8 tells us your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. And Psalm 139:1-2 reminds us Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts afar off. There is nothing hidden from Him, and Romans 8:26 comforts us that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. So we trust the Holy Spirit to intercede perfectly for each of those five burdens according to God's will.

We do want to lovingly share an important truth with you, because your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must come through faith in His Son, believing that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name alone that we can boldly bring every request to the throne of grace.

We encourage you to bring each of these unspoken requests to God in the name of Jesus, trusting His will and His timing, for 1 John 5:14 tells us This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Your Son. We thank You that You know the five unspoken requests this dear one carries, every detail, every fear, every hope. We ask that You work in each situation according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant wisdom where decisions must be made, peace where there is anxiety, healing where there is hurt, provision where there is need, and restoration where there is brokenness. Let Your will be done in each of these matters. We pray Philippians 4:6-7 over this life, that in nothing they would be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, their requests would be made known to You, and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Draw them closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and help them to trust You fully and to seek You with all their heart. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for trusting us with these five requests even without sharing the details. We know it can take courage to bring unspoken burdens to someone else, and we want you to know we are taking them seriously and holding them before the Lord with you.

You do not have to find perfect words for God to hear you. He already knows what is weighing on your heart, what feels urgent and what feels tender and hard to name. There is comfort in simply being honest that these matters are on your heart, and in knowing others are standing with you in prayer even when the specifics stay between you and Him.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might set aside a brief quiet moment each day to lift these five requests to Him just as they are, as unspoken. No explanation needed, just bringing them by name in your heart and resting in His care. And we will continue to do the same on our end.

Father, we lift our friend to You with these five unspoken requests. You see each one clearly and You know the need behind every word not spoken. Bring Your peace, Your wisdom and Your presence into each situation, and help our friend to sense Your nearness and care. We trust these burdens to Your good hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your five unspoken requests have been brought before the Lord and we have made intercession for you at the throne of grace. Though you have not spoken them, He who searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit and He knows each need far better than words could tell it.

We are glad that little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. Little faith knows where her strength lies and cries, Lord, save me. Your very weakness in not knowing how to speak these burdens may drive you more often to your knees, and that is good, for the Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith but of our faith, be it ever so little. The Lord acknowledges the prayer that says, Lord, I believe, help Thou my unbelief.

Remember that intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character, and in all the incense which our Great High Priest now puts into the censer there is not a single grain that is for Himself. When we plead for you we are following Him who prayed, Father, keep them, keep them from the evil. Such prayer is exceedingly prevalent and has wrought wonders, and we trust it shall prevail for you.

Our counsel to you in each of these five matters is this one word, Only trust Him, only trust Him. Trust Jesus Christ just as you are, without waiting for those feelings which you have supposed to be necessary as a sort of preparation. True faith in its very essence rests in a leaning upon Christ. It will not save you to know that Christ is a Saviour, but it will save you to trust Him to be your Saviour. Just where you are and as you are, trust Christ to save you and you shall be saved. Do not look for conversion first, but expect it as the result of faith.

Therefore take the shield of faith, for faith preserves from all sorts of enemies and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. True prayer is just pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him and then pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster. So plead His promise, trust His grace, and remind your heavenly Father of His Word. He has said they that trust in Him shall never be confounded, and He will abundantly justify all the trust you repose in Him.

We have prayed that in each unspoken request you may be kept, quickened in His way, delivered from evil, and made to see the answer which God in His wisdom shall give, not always as we expect but always as love ordains. May you be led to put your trust wholly in Him who invites you to lean upon Him, and may you find that if you trust His Son, He will save you from sinning and make a new man of you and heal you of your spiritual diseases.

We continue to plead for you that your faith may be strengthened and that you may prove the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, to whom be all glory. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
