Your four unspoken requests have been heard and I bring them before the Lord with you, giving thanks that we can cast our cares upon Him who upholds all things and cares for each soul.

We do not always see His providence clearly in the present moment, and Scripture teaches us not to judge His goodness by present circumstances alone nor to call Him to account, but to trust Him and to wait for what is to come, knowing that He will raise us up at the last day and make all things right. Even when we cannot see the way forward, His guardian care is over us, and He orders all things according to what will profit each person, though not all in the same manner.

In that trust I pray for you now. I ask the Father, through Jesus Christ His Son, by whom alone we have salvation and access to God, to hear these four requests that you hold in your heart. Where there is need, may He supply it according to His wisdom. Where there is sorrow or anxiety, may He give peace and patience to endure. Where there is sin or confusion, may He lead to repentance, to virtue, and to the light yoke of obedience, which is far sweeter than the heavy burden of going our own way. If any of these matters touches upon the ordering of your life and relationships, may He guide you into what is holy and good according to His design, for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and for all of life lived in purity and faithfulness within it, and may He give you strength to flee what is contrary and to pursue what pleases Him.

We are called to bear one another's burdens, and so I share this burden with you before God, asking that you would not be confounded by what happens but would give place to His providence, give heed to virtue, and look in hope toward the resurrection and the good things to come.

May the Lord grant you faith to trust Him whether He answers quickly or calls you to wait, and may He fulfill in you what is best for your salvation and His glory, by the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, with whom to the Father together with the Holy Spirit be glory now and forever. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with these four requests that you have kept unspoken. Even though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to God. Jesus taught that your Father knows what you need before you ask Him, so prayer is not a matter of informing God of details He does not have. It is coming to Him in trust and letting Him do what He has desired to do for you.

That is why the first question in prayer is always relationship. Jesus gave His disciples a model for prayer that begins with Our Father. If you have come to God through faith in Jesus Christ and have received forgiveness of sins through Him alone, you can truly call God your Father and come to Him with confidence. If that relationship is not yet settled, the one prayer God desires to hear first is simply, God be merciful to me, a sinner. That prayer opens the door to every other prayer, because it brings you into the family of God through Christ.

The purpose of prayer is not to get our own will done, but to see God's will done on earth as it is in heaven. Prayer begins with God and His purposes, He makes His will known to our hearts, and we speak it back to Him so that He may accomplish it without violating the will He has given us. For that reason the wisest and safest prayer we can pray over matters we hold close, including the four burdens you carry, is Lord, have Your way and accomplish Your perfect will in each of these situations. That prayer invites God to act freely and to do what is truly best, even when we cannot see what is best ourselves.

You do not need many words or a long prayer for God to hear you. Every prayer recorded in Scripture is quite short. What matters is not length but sincerity. Scripture says the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a person who has been made righteous through Christ has great power and produces wonderful results. Elijah was a man with the same nature as ours, and God answered his sincere prayer in a remarkable way. In the same way David, who lived with many troubles, was constantly driven to prayer and found that God heard, comforted, and gave assurance as he prayed. The Holy Spirit often ministers comfort and confidence to the heart while we are praying.

It helps to remember who you are addressing. When you come to God as your Father, the Creator and King who has made promises in His Word, you can bring those promises before Him. Not because He needs to be reminded, but because it strengthens your own faith to remember what He has said He will do.

Prayer is also worship, a recognition of His greatness and goodness, and it is meant to be your first response, not your last resort. One faithful man in Scripture, when faced with ridicule and great need while doing God's work, prayed immediately. He prayed and then he took wise and careful action, setting a guard and doing what was prudent. Prayer does not take the place of wise steps, it comes before them and guides them. It is prayer together with prudence, not prayer with presumption.

We are joining with you in agreement now for these four unspoken requests. Jesus said that when two or three agree on earth concerning anything, it will be done by the Father. We agree with you that in each of these four matters God's will would be done, that you would know His guidance, His provision, His healing and His peace where needed, and that anything in these requests that is not according to His Word and His good design would be reshaped by His grace. We ask that He would draw you closer to Himself through each answer, that He would be glorified, and that you would experience His comfort and clear direction as you wait on Him.

May the Lord hear your prayers, grant you wisdom for every practical step that follows, and fill your heart with the assurance that He is caring for you in each of these four needs according to His perfect will through Jesus Christ.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning your four unspoken prayer requests.

We are grateful that you trusted us to bring these needs before the Lord even though they remain unspoken. We take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father knows every detail of what is on your heart and that the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us when we do not know how to pray as we ought as we are reminded in Rom 8:26. We have been lifting up each of your four requests before the throne of grace and we have asked God to answer according to His perfect will and to grant you His peace, wisdom and strength in every situation.

If your requests have been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your requests do not seem to have been answered, please post them again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that He will draw you near to Him, that you will feel His presence and His peace in a powerful way, and that you will know His guidance and provision in each of these matters. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
