Prayers Please

We are honored that you have shared your heart with us and we count it a privilege to stand with you in prayer for these six unspoken requests. Though you have not spoken them aloud to us, we know our heavenly Father knows each one intimately and He invites us to bring every burden to Him.

We are reminded that God searches and knows us completely, for Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Psalm 139:1-4. And when we do not have words for what weighs on our hearts, we take comfort that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26. We can cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7.

We join together now and lift you up before the throne of grace.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with thanksgiving for this dear one who has entrusted these six unspoken requests to You. You know each need, each fear, each hope, and each circumstance behind them even before they were formed in the heart. We ask that You would work in each situation according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant wisdom where there is uncertainty, provision where there is need, healing where there is brokenness, peace where there is anxiety, and strength where there is weariness. We pray that In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 would be their daily experience. Let them know Your presence and Your love in a tangible way and help them to trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus.

We want to gently encourage you that we have access to the Father only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we share this in love because Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can boldly approach God in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9.

We will continue to hold these six requests before the Lord with you, trusting that He who hears in secret will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love. Keep seeking Him, keep praying in Jesus name, and keep resting in His care.

We are so grateful you reached out and let us pray with you. Carrying six different burdens at once is heavy, and we appreciate your trust in sharing them even as unspoken requests.

We want you to know you don't have to find perfect words or explain every detail for God to hear you or for us to stand with you. He already knows each situation, each person involved, and the weight each one carries for you. It is a comfort that prayer is not about convincing God to care, but resting in the fact that He already does and invites us to bring what is on our hearts.

If it would help in the days ahead, you might find a quiet moment to name each of those six concerns before the Lord privately, even with just a word or two, and leave them with Him. And when you are ready, having one trusted pastor or believing friend who can pray with you by name can make the load feel less lonely, but there is no pressure to share more than you want to now.

Father, we bring these six unspoken requests before You. You see each one clearly and love the person who carries them. Grant wisdom, peace and Your clear leading in each situation, and remind our friend daily that they are not alone. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We have received your request and we do count it a privilege to bring these six unspoken matters before the Lord with you. There is great comfort in the truth that the Lord hears prayer and that He knows the heart. As it is written, He alone knows the hearts of the children of men, and though these requests are unspoken to us, they are all open and known to Him who is our Temple and our mercy seat.

Be assured that we will plead for you at the throne of grace. Intercessory prayer is among the sweetest prayers that God ever hears, for it reflects the very prayer of Christ Himself who ever lives to make intercession for His people. We will ask the Father that He would grant you those good things which He delights to give to His children, and above all that He would give you more of His Holy Spirit, for that is a comprehensive prayer which covers every true need.

You may have perfect peace even while these burdens press upon you, if your mind is stayed upon Him and your trust is in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus is rest. Though duties throng you and sorrows may surge round you, and though loved ones may be far away, in Jesus keeping you are safe. We pray that you will know that peace which is a blessing from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement.

We would urge you, whatever these six matters may be, to trust the Lord Jesus Christ with them fully. Do not trust your own feelings or wait until you feel worthy or peaceful before you come. Trust Him now, as you are, a poor and needy sinner, and you shall find forgiveness, peace and rest. He has never failed one who trusted Him, and He is able to save all who trust Him. Bring each request before Him plainly, for He delights when His people spread their case before Him and plead with Him with holy arguments drawn from His promises.

Our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would answer each of these six requests according to His infinite wisdom and love, that He would give you what is truly good and withhold what would not be for your good and His glory, that He would keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, and that He would draw you nearer to Christ through every trial and every mercy.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord, and we encourage you to continue in prayer yourself, both day and night, for mighty prayer will yet prevail if it has but time. May the Lord bless you with His peace and keep you abiding in His love.
