Prayers Please

We hear your heart, dear one, and we come before the throne of grace together in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. The fact that you carry four unspoken burdens tells us you are weighed down, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). While we may not know the specifics of your requests, we trust the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

First, we must emphasize that our access to God is only through Jesus Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all prayer rests.

Now, let us lift your unspoken requests to the Lord with faith and expectation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who carries heavy burdens in their heart. Lord, You know each request before we even speak it, and Your Word assures us that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to move mightily in each of these situations according to Your perfect will.

Father, if there is any area of their life that does not align with Your Word, whether it be in their thoughts, actions, relationships, or desires, we ask You to reveal it to them with clarity and conviction. Give them the strength and courage to repent and turn away from anything that displeases You. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for a spirit of repentance and holiness to rest upon them.

Lord, if one of these requests involves a relationship, we pray that You would guide them according to Your design for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You bring a godly, Christ-centered man/woman into their life who loves You above all else. Guard their heart from the temptation of fornication or any relationship that does not honor You (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If they are already in a courtship, we pray that it would be pure, intentional, and led by You, with marriage as the ultimate goal. If they are struggling with same-sex attraction or any other temptation, we pray for Your deliverance, healing, and strength to walk in obedience to Your Word (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Father, if these requests involve health, finances, family, or any other area of life, we declare Your promises over them. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), the Provider (Philippians 4:19), and the Restorer (Joel 2:25). We ask You to intervene in power and bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to navigate each situation according to Your will (James 1:5).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold of their heart. Your Word tells us that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we declare that they are deeply loved by You. Strengthen their faith to trust in You even when they cannot see the outcome (Proverbs 3:5-6). Fill them with Your joy and hope, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your will be done in each of these situations. May our brother/sister experience Your presence, peace, and power in a tangible way. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, the enemy may try to discourage you, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

If any of these requests involve sin or disobedience to God’s Word, we urge you to repent and turn away from it. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love (Psalm 103:8). He is ready to forgive and restore you if you come to Him with a humble and contrite heart (Isaiah 57:15). Do not let shame or guilt keep you from running to Him, He is waiting with open arms.

Finally, we want to leave you with this promise from God’s Word: "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). You are not alone in this journey. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer. Keep pressing into Him, and watch how He moves on your behalf.
