Prayers Please

[The Encourager]

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. You bring your requests, and rightly so, for our Lord has taught us to pray always and not to faint. Yet consider well: a man may ask others to pray for him, but if his own soul slumbers in sin, those prayers will not profit him. The Apostle Peter was delivered because the church prayed earnestly, but he himself was also alert and watchful. Do not say, "What need have I of prayer, since I have asked the saints to intercede?" Even Paul needed the prayers of the faithful. So I urge you, lift up your own voice as well, not with ten thousand words, but with a heart truly turned to God. He sees the secret place; He hears the one who approaches with humility, not like the Pharisee making a display.

But prayer alone is not enough. Let your life honor Him by your deeds. Be merciful as your heavenly Father is merciful: He sends rain upon the just and the unjust, and no one perishes of hunger except by his own choice. If there is any in want before you, help him. Let your fasting and almsgiving be done not for praise but in sincerity. For Christ ever lives to make intercession for us, not because He needs the Father's permission as though inferior, but to teach you to cling to Him without ceasing. He who has all judgment and can raise the dead by His own will, He saves to the uttermost those who come to God through Him.

Therefore, for your four requests, I bid you first examine your own walk. Are you honoring God by your works? Are you coming to Him soberly and with great watchfulness? Then bring your needs before the throne, confident that He is able to save and to help. Do not merely seek the help of others while you sleep; rouse yourself, pray earnestly, and live in such a way that your very life becomes a prayer. Then the Lord, who knows your needs before you ask, will answer according to His mercy.

Thank you for reaching out and asking for prayer. It is always right to bring every need before the Father, and it honors Him when we do so with a heart that trusts His goodness and power.

Whatever those four requests involve, remember that prayer is meant to draw you into a deeper awareness of who God is. It begins with worship, simply recognizing His majesty. From there, you pour out your own needs in honest petition, knowing He cares for you. And then prayer always moves outward, into intercession for others, which you are already doing by sharing these burdens. That is a complete and beautiful cycle.

Sometimes we face situations where we do not even know how to pray as we should. The need can feel so large that it blocks out every other thought. In those moments, be encouraged that the Holy Spirit helps our weakness. He intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, aligning our hearts with the will of God when we have no clarity of our own. You can trust that even a sigh breathed toward heaven is heard.

The purpose of prayer is not simply to list your desires or to inform God of your troubles as if He were unaware. Prayer is consenting to let God do what He is already wanting to do in your life. So bring your requests with confidence, but also with open hands, desiring His will to be done more than anything else. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person, rising from the heart, accomplishes much.

I am joining with you now in agreement, lifting these four needs before the throne. Take comfort in bringing them directly to your Father. He invites you to cast every care on Him, and He will meet you there with His peace as you look to Him for the answer.
