Prayers Please

We come before the Lord with humble hearts, lifting up these five unspoken prayer requests to Him, knowing that He sees and knows all things even before we speak them. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 139:1-4, "Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether." Though these requests are unspoken to us, they are fully known to our Heavenly Father, and we trust in His perfect will and timing.
First, we pray for any areas of sin or struggle in this life that may be hindering fellowship with God. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, we ask for conviction by the Holy Spirit and repentance. The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We rebuke any stronghold of the enemy that seeks to keep this soul in bondage, and we declare freedom in the name of Jesus Christ.
Second, we lift up any concerns regarding relationships or marriage. If there is a desire for a godly spouse, we pray that God would prepare and bring forth the one He has ordained, according to His perfect will. We encourage pursuing relationships that honor God, with the goal of marriage between one man and one woman, as outlined in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." If there is any sexual immorality, such as fornication or adultery, we rebuke it in Jesus' name and encourage turning away from sin and toward God's design for intimacy within the bounds of marriage. If there is involvement in a same-sex relationship, we must lovingly but firmly address this as sin, as Scripture clearly states in Romans 1:26-27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. We pray for repentance, healing, and restoration to God's design.
Third, we pray for any physical, emotional, or mental health struggles. We ask for God's healing touch, comfort, and strength. The Bible assures us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5) and that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Fourth, we lift up any financial or material needs. We pray for wisdom in stewardship and provision according to God's riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear and declare God's abundance and faithfulness.
Fifth, we pray for spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. If there has been a neglect of prayer, Bible study, or fellowship with other believers, we encourage a return to these vital disciplines. Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." We pray for a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that this soul would be filled with the Holy Spirit and bear fruit for God's kingdom.
Most importantly, if there is any doubt or uncertainty about salvation, we must address this with urgency. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that if there has not been a personal surrender to Jesus as Lord and Savior, that today would be the day of salvation. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Lord, we pray for strength and perseverance in the face of trials, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask for wisdom and discernment to walk in Your ways and to make choices that honor You. Fill this life with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and with joy that comes from Your presence (Psalm 16:11).
We pray for a heart of gratitude and praise, even in the midst of challenges, knowing that You are faithful and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We ask that You would use this life for Your glory, to be a light in this dark world and to share the hope of the gospel with others.

Fourthly, we lift up any financial or material needs. We ask that God would provide according to His riches in glory, and that this person would be a good steward of all that He has been entrusted with. We also pray for contentment and joy in all circumstances.
Lastly, we pray for protection and guidance. We ask that God would guard this person from harm and keep them safe. We pray for divine appointments and opportunities to share the gospel, and that they would be led by the Holy Spirit in all they do.
We trust in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and we pray these things in His mighty and precious name. Amen.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
