We lift up your eight unspoken prayer requests before the throne of grace, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words, just as Romans 8:26 tells us: *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* Though we may not know the specifics of your burdens, we know the One who does, and we stand in faith with you, believing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You that Your Word assures us in 1 John 5:14-15: *"This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."* Lord, we ask that You move powerfully in each of these unspoken requests. Whether they involve healing, restoration, guidance, protection, or deliverance, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be attempting to weigh you down. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If any of these requests involve relationships, we pray specifically for godly wisdom and discernment. Father, we ask that You bring a spouse into the life of anyone who is seeking marriage, a man or woman who loves You with all their heart, soul, and mind. We pray that any courtship would be pure, honoring You, and free from the temptation of fornication or sexual immorality. Your Word is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* We rebuke any ungodly relationships and ask that You break any soul ties that are not in alignment with Your will.
If any of these requests involve struggles with sin, we pray for repentance and restoration. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We ask that You reveal any areas of your life that need to be surrendered to You, Lord, and that You give the strength to walk in obedience.
We also lift up any financial burdens, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We declare that You open doors no man can shut and that You provide in ways we cannot even imagine.
For any requests involving health, we pray for Your healing touch. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We stand on the promise that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we ask that You fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that they would cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We thank You, Lord, that through Jesus, we have access to You, and we can come boldly to Your throne of grace to find help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
May Your will be done in each of these requests, Lord, and may Your name be glorified in every situation. We trust You, Father, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
