Humble Prayer Partner
Hello, prayer warriors. I want to share an update about my family and ask for your heartfelt prayers. My husband’s new trucking job is going well, and we are thankful he was able to spend Christmas and New Year’s with us. He’ll be heading back on the road this weekend for a few more weeks. I also humbly ask for your prayers as I prepare for an in-person interview to become my children’s IHSS worker. I’ve been studying and trying to understand what I can do to support my kids, especially given my experience as an ILS instructor working with adults with special needs and disabilities. My children, all on the autism spectrum, with two facing literacy challenges and ADHD, and one of them who recently became an adult, need compassionate and understanding caseworkers.
Please pray that God will guide us to find a caseworker who genuinely cares for our family’s well-being—someone who will work in our children's best interest, not against us, and who will be truly helpful. I’ve heard stories of challenging experiences with caseworkers, and I pray for protection and kindness in this process. This is my first time seeking any government assistance for my children, and I trust in God's guidance. Please also pray for my faith to remain strong, so I can handle household challenges, homeschool our youngest, steward our finances wisely (we were behind before my husband's new job), and trust God to provide for our mortgage, bills, and income while he's on the road. I ask for your prayers for our marriage to stay resilient and for our faith to remain steadfast. I pray that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, continues to lead me as an ambassador for Him, that I put Him first and seek His will above all. Help me to see the bigger picture, beyond my stress and trials, and to follow where God leads. I desire to be the best mom and wife I can be, managing our home with the wisdom of Proverbs 31. Please keep me in your prayers for strength, peace, and trust that I won’t worry or grow anxious, but will continually surrender everything to the Lord. I felt compelled to share this prayer here, as I was cleaning, listening to worship music, worshiping, and hearing His word uplift and comfort me, especially in moments of anxiety. Thank you, my prayer warriors, for standing with me. I love you all and keep you in my prayers—praying for all believers and non-believers alike, for all to be used for God's glory. May He say when we return home, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
