We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. Your pain is not unseen by Him, and we stand in agreement with you, declaring His promises over your body and spirit. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this truth over you today, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in your life, even now.
It is encouraging to see that you are praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith, believing for your complete restoration.
Yet we also want to encourage you to seek wisdom in this season. If you haven’t already, we urge you to consult godly medical professionals who can provide care and insight into your condition. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* This applies not only to nations but to our personal lives as well. God often uses doctors, medicine, and wise counsel as instruments of His healing, and we pray He guides you to the right people and treatments.
We also recognize that suffering, while painful, can draw us closer to the Lord. In times like these, we are reminded of Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, *"He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."* Your pain is not in vain—God can use it to refine your faith, deepen your dependence on Him, and even testify to His goodness when healing comes.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is suffering. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body, removing every trace of pain, inflammation, and disease. Restore their back and stomach to full health, and let every organ, muscle, and nerve function as You designed it to. We rebuke this pain in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and never return, for no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to flood their heart and mind. When the pain feels overwhelming, remind them that You are near, that You are holding them, and that You are working all things together for their good. Give them restful sleep, free from discomfort, and renew their strength as they wait on You. If there are underlying spiritual, emotional, or physical roots to this suffering, reveal them and uproot them by Your power.
We pray for wisdom—for divine appointments with the right medical professionals, for clarity in diagnosis, and for effective treatment. Guide them to the resources and support they need, and surround them with Your people who can encourage and uplift them in this time.
Most of all, Father, we ask that You use this trial to draw them closer to You. Let them experience Your presence in a deeper way, and may their testimony of Your healing power bring glory to Your name. We trust in You, Lord, knowing that You are faithful and that Your will is perfect.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete healing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If there are specific diagnoses or details you’d like us to pray over, please share them, and we will lift them up before the Lord. May you feel His peace and presence in a tangible way today.
