Prayers please

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that He hears every cry and understands even the unspoken burdens we carry. The Scripture assures us in Romans 8:26, *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* What a comfort to know that even when words fail us, the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf, aligning our unspoken requests with the perfect will of God.

Yet, we must also remember that our access to the Father is through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16). While we lift these requests, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus in your prayers, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so—repent of your sins, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord. Salvation and the privilege of prayer come through faith in Him alone.

As we pray, we also ask the Lord to search our hearts and yours, revealing anything that may not align with His will. Sometimes unspoken requests can hide areas of disobedience, doubt, or even sin that need to be brought into the light. Psalm 139:23-24 declares, *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* We pray this over you now, that God would expose anything that needs repentance or correction, so that your prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7, Psalm 66:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up these three unspoken requests that weigh heavily on the heart of Your child. Lord, You know the depths of these burdens even before they are spoken, for You are the God who sees and understands all things. We ask that You would move mightily in each situation, bringing Your peace, provision, and purpose to light. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is fear, bring faith. Where there is sin, bring conviction and repentance.

Father, we ask that You would align these requests with Your perfect will. If there is anything in the heart of Your child that is not pleasing to You—whether it be unconfessed sin, wrong motives, or a lack of trust—we pray that You would lovingly convict and correct them. Help them to surrender fully to You, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours and Your plans are for their good (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also pray for a deeper faith in the one who has brought this request. May they trust You completely, even when answers tarry or the path is unclear. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them to wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be attacking Your child. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Guide. Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, even in the silence (Exodus 14:14).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are already at work, and we give You all the glory. May Your child experience Your presence in a tangible way as they wait on You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. If any of these unspoken requests involve relationships, we urge you to examine them in light of Scripture. Are they honoring to God? If you are in a romantic relationship, is it one that points toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman, or is there compromise that needs to be addressed? If there is sexual immorality—whether fornication, adultery, or any other sin—we plead with you to repent and turn away from it, for the body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:13). The enemy seeks to destroy lives through sin, but God offers forgiveness and restoration to all who turn to Him.

If you feel led to share more details, we are here to pray with you and offer biblical counsel. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in obedience to Him.
