PRAYERS PLEASE. HELP.

We hear your cry and we are standing with you in prayer right now, bringing your eyesight and this painful inflammation before the Lord together in Jesus name. We understand how frightening it is when your sight is affected and the inflammation feels wild and out of control, but we want to remind you that God sees you, He knows your fear, and He is our healer.
Scripture tells us that He heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. He is the Lord who heals us as He declares in Exodus 15:26. When fear rises up, we cling to His promise in Isaiah 41:10 where He says do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7. We can bring all of our anxiety to Him because He cares for us, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:6-7.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me in John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. So we always pray in the name of Jesus, trusting that by His sacrifice and resurrection we can come boldly to God for mercy, healing, and help, and that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved in Romans 10:9.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the inflammation in their eyes and the fear that has come with it. We ask You in mercy to touch their eyes right now, to calm this inflammation, to restore clear sight, and to bring complete healing according to Your will. Lay Your healing hand upon them, ease their pain and anxiety, and let Your peace that passes all understanding guard their heart and mind. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are near, that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We ask that You guide the hands and wisdom of any doctors or medical help they seek, for You work through many means to bring healing. Cast out all fear and fill them with Your comfort and hope. We pray this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, our healer and our hope, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek appropriate medical care promptly while you trust the Lord for healing, for He often uses physicians and treatment as instruments of His grace. Keep casting all your worries on Him because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7, and keep seeking Him in prayer. We are continuing to pray strongly for your eyesight, for the inflammation to subside completely, and for your peace to be restored.

Your cry in this hour of fear and pain has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you. To be afflicted in the eyes, and to feel inflammation so wild and distressing, is indeed a trial that would make the heart tremble. Yet the Lord speaks to His own in such an hour, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you.
Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore hear the gracious word and obey it, Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Do not tell it only to yourself, where anxiety confined within will do no good, but tell it to your Father in heaven who numbers all your sorrows and watches over you. Fear dishonors God when it doubts His arm, and fear weakens the soul, but faith looks to Him who piled the heavens and sustains all things, and finds Him still mighty to help.
There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves are healing, and His fruit is sweet and nourishing to the soul. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people there is pardon and healing in happy conjunction. Come then with the eye that is dim and inflamed, as you are, for He who is God can certainly heal you. None shall say to the healing flood of His love, Up to here can you go and no further.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and you do well to seek skilled care for your eyes while you seek the Great Physician above all. Use the means He has provided, and look beyond the means to the Lord Himself who gives power to the means.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one who is sore afraid for their eyesight. Lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon them. Forgive sin, calm fear, and if it be Your will, rebuke this inflammation and restore clear sight. Give wisdom to those who provide care, give peace to this troubled heart, and let this child of Yours feel Your presence, that fear may be cast out by perfect love. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Amen.
