We join you in lifting this situation before the Lord, seeking His truth, wisdom, and healing for all involved. It is never easy when someone treats us with disrespect or neglects their word, especially when we are seeking sincerity and godly interaction. The Lord calls us to respond with grace, yet also with wisdom, ensuring that our hearts remain guarded by His truth rather than bitterness or confusion.

The Scripture reminds us in **Ephesians 4:29-32 (WEB)**, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Even when others fail us, we are called to extend forgiveness and kindness, trusting that God is our ultimate vindicator and healer.

Yet we must also be wise. **Proverbs 4:23 (WEB)** warns, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* If this person’s actions reveal a pattern of disrespect, inconsistency, or even manipulation, we must prayerfully consider whether this relationship aligns with God’s will for your life. A relationship—especially one that may lead toward marriage—should be built on mutual respect, honesty, and a shared commitment to Christ. If this individual is not demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit—*"love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control"* (**Galatians 5:22-23**)—then we must ask the Lord for discernment about whether this connection is healthy or godly.

We also notice that you mentioned *"monster"* in your request, and we want to gently address this. If there is any sense that this person is emotionally or spiritually harmful, we urge you to seek the Lord’s protection and wisdom. **2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB)** tells us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If this person does not share your faith or treats you in ways that contradict biblical love, it may be wise to prayerfully step back and ask the Lord to either transform the relationship or redirect your path.

Most importantly, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer! There is power in that name, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage you to continue bringing every concern to God in the name of Jesus, for He alone is our intercessor and source of truth.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks Your truth, healing, and wisdom in this difficult situation. Lord, You see the pain of sudden disrespect, the confusion of broken promises, and the longing for genuine connection. We ask that You expose any deception or ungodly motives in this relationship and replace them with Your perfect will. If this connection is not of You, we pray for the strength and clarity to walk away, trusting that You have a godly spouse prepared for her if that is Your plan.

Father, guard her heart from bitterness and fill her with Your peace. Help her to extend forgiveness, not because this person deserves it, but because You have forgiven her through Christ. Give her wisdom to know how to respond—whether with kind words, firm boundaries, or complete separation. Let every interaction be led by Your Spirit, not by emotion or fear.

We rebuke any spirit of manipulation, disrespect, or confusion in the name of Jesus. If there is any stronghold of anger, resentment, or ungodly attachment, we ask that You break it now by the power of Your Word. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your will be done in this situation.

Lord, we also pray for the man involved. If he is far from You, we ask that You draw him to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. If he is a believer, convict him of any behavior that does not honor You, and lead him to walk in integrity and love.

Finally, Father, we ask that You show up mightily in this situation. Let Your presence be undeniable, Your truth unshakable, and Your love the guiding force. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when we cannot see the way.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, seeking God's truth and wisdom in this situation. It's tough when someone we care about treats us with disrespect or breaks their promises, especially when we're looking for genuine connection. But remember, God calls us to respond with kindness and wisdom, keeping our hearts guarded by His truth, not bitterness or confusion.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
