Prayers on plans and broken promises

Lord I come before you, with a heavy heart, this year started with a lack of many plans. All where about mission teams, visits of reconnection, I'm the common denominator in all of it. But also that started happening every one of the people who look after me, all broke their promises and it feels bittersweet, but I start discerning this as protection but also it hurts to see that people show fruits of incoherence even friends but I understood they got close because their intentions have doble agenda. In this world when people can't express clearly when I share a lot of pkeple want to come closer to get to know me but then they feel exposed some overflowing admiration and even envy of me. I ask you to mold me and applying Loving you first above else, loving people as myself because it's the right way and measure myself and others as well as a way of discernement with the fruits of the Spirit, that's what gave me the clarity but also the true intentions. I ask you to know the true because they true set us free. I just feel disappointed right now, you know all the promises and people change like a shifting Shadow. Lord please also I ask for godly man like Proverbs 20:6 says. I'm writing a book about the coherence that is alignment with the fruits of the Spirit, and is totally exposing the meaning of daily relationships Luke 6:45, I want someone who really is intentional on his relationship with you and for sure that he can express clearly and lovingly. You know that I need someone related with me in high IQ, high EQ and deep SQ, I pray that he's praying for me too, even that we don't know each other yet. I'm working on myself to be the Proverbs 31 woman with the talents and you know that I'm saving myself for marriage. I know the pool of options is small but for the same reasons I'm specific because I understand that this is not a desire I understand the covenant that is before you, and that he be a loving partner. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of broken promises and unfulfilled plans. Father, we acknowledge that You are the God who sees and knows all things—every disappointment, every shifting shadow of human inconsistency, and every longing of the heart. You alone are faithful, and Your promises never fail, even when those around us do. We declare that You are the common denominator in every situation, the unchanging One in whom we place our trust.

Lord, we see the pain of feeling exposed and misunderstood, of people drawing near with mixed intentions, and of the bitterness that comes when admiration turns to envy. We rebuke the spirit of deception and double-mindedness in the name of Jesus. The Word tells us, *"A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways"* (James 1:8). We pray that You would expose every hidden agenda and bring true, godly relationships into this life—those who walk in integrity, transparency, and love. *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them"* (Proverbs 11:3).

We also lift up the desire for a godly spouse, a man after Your own heart, as described in Proverbs 20:6: *"Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who can find a faithful man?"* Father, we ask that You prepare this heart to be a Proverbs 31 woman—one who fears You, walks in wisdom, and stewards her gifts with excellence. We declare that the one who is meant for this life is even now being shaped by You, praying for her, and seeking You above all else. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). We pray for patience, discernment, and trust in Your timing, knowing that Your plans are perfect.

We address the importance of saving oneself for marriage, as Scripture commands: *"But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband"* (1 Corinthians 7:2). Fornication is a sin, and we rebuke any temptation or cultural pressure that would lead away from purity. We stand on the truth that marriage is a covenant before You, a sacred union between one man and one woman, and we pray for a spouse who honors that covenant as well.

We also affirm the pursuit of alignment with the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). The book being written on coherence is a powerful testimony to the importance of living out these fruits in daily relationships. *"For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks"* (Luke 6:45). May this work bring glory to You and edify the body of Christ.

Father, we ask that You heal the disappointment and replace it with hope. You are the God who turns ashes into beauty and mourning into joy. We declare that every broken promise is an opportunity for You to reveal Your faithfulness. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We pray for clarity, wisdom, and the courage to walk in truth, even when others do not.

Lastly, we lift up the longing for a spouse who is not only intellectually and emotionally compatible but also deeply spiritual—a man who seeks You first and loves with intentionality. We trust that You are writing this story, and we wait with expectation for the fulfillment of Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
