We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for protection and deliverance from the schemes of the enemy. The Scripture warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* We recognize that theft, deception, and manipulation are tools of the enemy, and we stand firmly against them in the name of Jesus Christ.
First, we must address that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and it is only through His name that we have authority and access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* So we lift this request to the Father *in Jesus’ name alone*, trusting in His power to intervene.
We also urge the one making this request to examine their own heart and ensure they are walking in righteousness, for Scripture tells us in Psalm 66:18, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* Let us all seek to live uprightly before God, repenting of any wrongdoing, so that our prayers may not be hindered.
Now, we pray for the owner, ###, that God would grant discernment and wisdom to recognize the traps set by ###. We ask that the Lord expose every hidden scheme and bring to light what has been done in darkness, for Proverbs 28:13 declares, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."* May ### be confronted with the weight of her actions and be led to repentance. We pray that if she has hardened her heart, the Lord would break through her resistance, for *"the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear"* (Isaiah 59:1).
We also pray for full protection over the business and all who work there. May the Lord place a hedge of thorns around this workplace, as He did for Job, so that no further harm can come. We declare Psalm 91:9-11 over this situation: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
Finally, we ask for justice to prevail. The Bible is clear that theft is a sin, and those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Yet we also pray for mercy, that ### may turn from her ways and seek forgiveness. Let this situation be used for God’s glory—either in bringing conviction and repentance or in vindicating the righteous.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would intervene mightily in this situation. Protect ### from every snare and give strength to stand firm. Expose the works of darkness and let Your truth prevail. We pray for wisdom in how to handle this matter biblically, whether through confrontation, legal action, or simply trusting in Your justice. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
