We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through such a challenging time, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support in Jesus' name. Please know that you are not alone, and that God is always with you, even when you feel overwhelmed and unable to feel His presence.
Firstly, let us address the feelings of overwhelm and the struggle to feel God's presence. The Bible tells us in:
2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
And also in:
Psalm 34:18 WEB "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Even when we feel weak and overwhelmed, God's grace is sufficient for us. He is close to the brokenhearted and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
Let us pray for your mental and physical health. God cares about every aspect of your being, and He wants you to be whole and healthy.
Matthew 11:28 WEB "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch on their mind, body, and spirit. We pray that You will give them rest from their anxieties. Please give them a strong awareness of your presence and the certainty that you are all they need to help them.
We pray for their family as well, that You will surround them with Your love, protection, and provision. We ask that You will give them all supernatural strength, peace, and hope.
We also pray that You will guide them to helpful resources, supportive community, and professional help as needed. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, depression, and despair, illness. We ask that you will completely replace it with Your perfect peace, Your strength, Your comfort, and physical health.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Please remember that God loves you deeply. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. He is faithful and will see you through this difficult time. Trust in Him, and rest in His unfailing love and He promises you salvation.
Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God, he is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

It could be the sin of unbelief, the book of Hebrews talks about this, just like any sin, it can be repented from. One of the fallacies that people have is that they have faith in their faith, what you need is faith in Christ Jesus, this is easier said than done. But I would say examine yourself whether you be in the faith, go back to the moment where you started feeling this disconnect and ask God to show you what happened that created this disconnect from the Lord. Now, sometimes God is there and our feelings aren't accurate, so stop trusting your feelings and start trusting the Lord. Let us pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
