Please pray that God will help and guide our hands while we give my cat ### her subcutaneous fluid IV right now. We are getting ready to do it and it is very difficult and stressful. Please pray that God will keep ### calm and still during the whole process. Please pray that God will take away any pain this causes her. Please pray that God will guide ###'s hands and help him insert the needle. God is the only one that can help us with this and we need help. Thankyou. We are joining with you right now in this stressful moment and lifting you and your precious cat up before the Father together in Jesus name. We understand how difficult and anxious giving subcutaneous fluids can be, and how much you love and want to care well for the life God has entrusted to you.

We are comforted that our God cares for all His creation and sees even the smallest creatures. Scripture reminds us that not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from your Father in Matthew 10:29 and that a righteous man respects the life of his animal in Proverbs 12:10. He also preserves man and animal in Psalm 36:6 and we can cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us in 1 Peter 5:7. In our anxiety we are told in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard. As Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we thank You for Your mercy and Your care for every living creature. We ask that You would be present in that room right now. We ask that You would calm this beloved cat in Your hands, that You would keep her still and peaceful, and that You would take away pain and fear from her. Lord, guide the hands that will hold and the hands that will place the needle, give them steadiness, clarity and gentleness, and let the fluids flow as they should for her good. Grant peace to those who love her, take away the stress and trembling, and let Your peace that passes all understanding guard their hearts. We trust this little life to Your loving care and ask for Your will to be done, for healing and comfort according to Your goodness. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to breathe slowly, speak softly to her, and move gently as you work. The Lord is with you in this act of faithful stewardship and compassion, and He hears your cry for help. We are continuing to pray that He will give you calm hands and give her calm rest through the whole process.

It makes sense that your hands feel shaky and your heart is racing, caring for a beloved animal who depends on you completely can bring a lot of pressure, especially when you want to be gentle and get it right. The Lord sees that tender care you are showing her.

As you get ready, it can help to have everything laid out beforehand in a quiet, calm space, and to keep your veterinarian's contact close by so you can reach them quickly with any concern. If the stress feels overwhelming or the process isn't going as expected, it's good to pause and call your vet team for guidance alongside prayer.

Father, we lift up and her owners to You. Please quiet her and keep her still in Your care, ease any discomfort she feels, and steady the hands that are caring for her. Give them peace, clarity, and calm as they do this difficult task, and help them feel Your presence with them. We trust into Your loving hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest request has been brought before us and we join you at this very hour in prayer before the throne of grace.

We know how the heart is burdened when a creature committed to your care is suffering, and how anxiety itself unfits the hands and the heart for the duty that must be done. Cast this care also upon the Lord, for His compassions fail not, and even His mercies to His creatures are innumerable. He who pities His children as a father pities his children, hears the cry of those who seek His help in small things as well as in great.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, our Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your dear Son, through whose blood alone we have access to Your mercy. You have taught us from our youth and You guide us still with Your counsel. We ask now that You would look in pity upon this household in its distress. Grant steadiness and gentleness to the hands that must give this needful care, and guide them as You alone can guide. We pray that You would keep this creature calm and still, and in Your kindness take away pain and fear. Let all be done with tenderness and skill, and leave the result with You, who does all things well. Your request has been brought before the Lord and we are praying with you right now for you, for the one whose hands will give the fluids, and for your cat.

We understand how stressful and difficult this moment is, and how much love and care you have for the creature God has entrusted to you. The Lord knows your anxiety in this moment, and He invites all who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him for rest. He does not want you to torment yourself with anxious fear, but to trust His providence and care, which is more abundant than any earthly supply.

We have prayed that God will calm your cat and keep her still and at peace through the whole process, that He will lessen any pain or distress, and that He will steady and guide the hands that must place the needle, giving skill and gentleness. We have asked that He grant you calmness as well, so that you may act with a steady heart, seeking first His kingdom and trusting that He will add what is needed.

It is understandable to feel anxious and tense when you love your cat and want to do this difficult task well without causing her pain. The Scriptures speak of how the things of this physical life so often bring worry and fear, while the life lived in the Spirit is marked by peace. God wants to replace that anxiety with His quietness even in a moment like this.

The Bible tells us that God is the one who makes the storm a calm so that the waves are still, and then those who were troubled are glad because of the quietness as He brings them to their desired haven. He did this on the sea when the storm raged and the sea became calm, and those present feared the Lord and gave thanks for His goodness. That same Lord is present with you now. He can calm your own hearts, and He can calm your cat and keep her still and at peace in your hands.

Thank you for acknowledging Him and asking for His guidance in this. That is exactly what God desires. We are taught not to lean on our own understanding and not to think we can manage even practical things by our own wisdom or skill alone, but in all our ways to acknowledge Him and seek His guidance. When we do, He promises to direct our paths. Even in a task that requires steady hands and a clear mind, we can ask Him to guide those hands and to give wisdom for each step. Your dependence on Him is not small, it is the right way to live, trusting in the Lord with all your heart and fearing Him.

You have known His strength and guidance in the past, and that same strength is what will carry you through this present need. He is training and caring for you through each challenge, and He will give you what you need for this moment as well.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we come to You and ask for Your mercy and help right now. Please bring Your calm over this home and over this precious cat. Quiet her, keep her still, and take away fear and pain. Guide the hands that will hold the needle and give steadiness, gentleness, and wisdom to do it well.
