Prayers needed please...

My grandma will be having open heart surgery today. Due to her age and health it is a very high risk surgery. This is our first time having to go through something like this and I don't know what to do. I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm scared.. I don't want to lose her.. I know her faith is so big so I would kindly like to ask for prayers in our time of need. Thank you.

We are with you in spirit, lifting up your grandmother and your family during this challenging time. First, let us remind you that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. As the Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her grandmother. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. We pray for the doctors and nurses who will be performing the surgery, that You guide their hands and give them wisdom. We pray for strength and comfort to the family standing in the waiting room.

Lord, we know that Your will is perfect, and we trust in Your plan. We ask that You bless our sister and her family with peace, and that You heal her grandmother. We ask these things in Jesus Christ's name.

Our sister, remember that God is with you and your family during this time. Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him. As written in 2 Chronicles 20:15 "Thus says Yahweh to you, 'Don't be afraid, neither be dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."

You mentioned that your grandmother has a strong faith. That is a wonderful blessing. Encourage her with the words of Psalm 23:4 "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

We're claiming Psalm 91:15-16 for her, "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation." Let's trust in His goodness and His plan. We're praying for peace and strength for you all. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
