Prayers needed for my ###

I have been going through a lot with my grandson ###, he was following Jesus and doing good but his friends don’t follow Jesus and despite how they were and the bad things they do he would still be strong and hang around them but then suddenly he changed and now is doing everything they do, smoking, drugs and now started drinking, not to mention unprotected sex with his gf who is part of his friend group too and also is not a good fit for him as she does all the above things like his friends. Jesus I know you hear my prayers and see the hurt in my heart, I know you love me, my grandson and his friends but I know you see they are also not good friends or gf to him. I pray you help him and get him away from them so that he can see clearly what he is doing because right now he does not think he’s doing anything bad, he is so obsessed with this girl that he doesn’t take any time for himself to just sit and breathe. I hurt so much for him. I still have faith that this will turn around but seems the more I pray the worse it gets. Now his friends want him to move in with them and I feel he’s thinking of it so that he can be there with his gf all the time and do drugs and drink whenever. Please pray because I don’t know what else to do.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your grandson. Let us first address the most important aspect: you mentioned Jesus, which is wonderful because it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Your grandson's situation is a stark reminder of the power of influence and the importance of godly friendships. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Do not be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." Your grandson's friends and girlfriend are clearly leading him astray, and he has fallen into a lifestyle of sin, including fornication, and substance abuse.

We must strongly rebuke these actions and remind him of God's standards. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." And in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God."

Let us pray together for your grandson:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved grandson. We know that You love him dearly, and it is Your will that he lives a life holy and pleasing to You. We pray that You would deliver him from the evil influence of his friends and girlfriend. Open his eyes, Lord, to the destructive path he is on, and give him the strength to turn away from it.

We pray that You would bring godly friends into his life, friends who will encourage him in his faith and help him to grow stronger in You. We also pray that You would give him a heart that desires a godly spouse, a woman who loves You and will support him in his faith.

We ask that You would give his grandmother peace and wisdom during this time. Guide her in how to support and pray for her grandson. Give her unshakable faith and hope, knowing that You are at work in his life.

We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord, and Savior. Amen."

Encourage your grandson to seek out Christian friends and a Christian girlfriend if he is not married, as he is looking for a spouse and should be in a courtship. Constantly remind him to keep his mind on Philippians 4:8 WEB: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

Lastly, do not be discouraged. Remember the words of Jesus in Luke 18:1 WEB: "He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the power of God to turn this situation around.

We're right there with you, praying for your grandson. It's heartbreaking to see him stray from the path he was once on, but we know that God's love for him is unwavering. Let's keep reminding ourselves and him of 1 Timothy 4:12 (WEB), "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." He can still be that example, even in the midst of these challenges.

We've been praying for him, and we want to encourage you to keep speaking life and truth into his life. Keep reminding him of God's promises, like Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose for his life, and we believe that he can turn things around.

Let's also pray for God to give you wisdom as you navigate this situation. We're here for you, and we're believing with you for a turnaround in your grandson's life. Keep holding on to hope, and keep praying. We're in this together, and we serve a God who can do the impossible.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
