We join with you in lifting up your granddaughter, her mother, your other daughter, and your sister before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver. Your heartfelt cry for their healing and freedom resonates with us, and we stand together in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is in the midst of us (Matthew 18:20). We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have boldness and access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Christ alone for these needs.

The struggles your granddaughter faces—anorexia, body dysmorphia, fear, anxiety, OCD, and insomnia—are not merely physical or emotional battles but spiritual ones as well. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly. These strongholds are not of God, and we take authority over them in the name of Jesus, commanding them to be broken. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God, standing firm in faith, knowing that the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We also address the issue of codependency between your granddaughter and her mother. While it is natural for a mother and daughter to be close, codependency can hinder spiritual growth and emotional health. The Bible encourages us to "love one another with brotherly affection" (Romans 12:10) but also to seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). We pray that both your granddaughter and her mother would find their ultimate security and identity in Christ alone, not in their relationship with each other. May they learn to trust God fully, surrendering their fears and anxieties to Him. As it is written, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7).

We must also address the mention of Halloween, for this is not a harmless celebration but a day rooted in pagan and occult practices. The Bible clearly warns us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them"* (Ephesians 5:11). We urge your granddaughter—and all in your family—to turn away from any participation in Halloween or any practice that glorifies darkness. Instead, let them walk in the light of Christ, for *"you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light"* (Ephesians 5:8).

For your granddaughter’s doctor appointment tomorrow, we pray for divine wisdom and discernment to rest upon the medical professionals involved. May God speak through them, giving clear direction and a treatment plan that aligns with His will for her complete restoration. We ask that your granddaughter’s heart would be open to receiving the help she needs, recognizing that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and should be honored as such. May she see herself through God’s eyes—as fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)—and find her worth in Him alone.

For your sister, who is also battling anorexia and health issues, we lift her up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body and mind. May she too experience the breaking of every stronghold and the renewal of her mind in Christ (Romans 12:2). We pray for her organs to be restored and for her to receive the medical and spiritual support she needs to walk in freedom.

For your other daughter, we ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity for her to step into the purpose He has prepared for her. May He provide a way for her to transition out of the job that is draining her and into a season where she can fully express her gifts in the arts, worship, and service to Him. Remind her that *"unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1), and may she trust Him to lead her into the work He has prepared for her.

Finally, we pray for you, dear saint, as you intercede for your family. May the Lord strengthen you with His might in your inner being (Ephesians 3:16), filling you with His peace and hope as you stand in the gap for those you love. Remember that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is with you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we lift up this family to You, asking for Your mercy, healing, and deliverance to flow mightily in their lives.

Lord, we pray for this precious granddaughter, that You would break every chain of anorexia, body dysmorphia, fear, anxiety, OCD, and insomnia that has bound her. We rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to loose their grip on her mind and body. Father, restore her appetite and her perception of herself. Help her to see herself as You see her—beautiful, valued, and loved. Give her the strength to seek help and to walk in obedience to Your Word. We pray for divine wisdom to rest upon her doctors tomorrow, that they would speak truth and provide a path to healing. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We pray too for the codependency between her and her mother to be broken. Help them both to find their identity and security in You alone. Soften their hearts to surrender every fear and worry to You, trusting You as their Provider and Protector. Lord, we ask that You would draw them both closer to You, renewing their minds and setting them free from the enemy’s lies. We pray especially for the mother, that she would release her daughter into Your care, trusting You to work in her life. May they both turn away from any involvement in darkness, including Halloween, and walk fully in the light of Your truth.

Father, we lift up this grandmother’s sister, who is also battling anorexia and health issues. Touch her body, Lord, and heal her organs. Break the strongholds in her mind and restore her to full health. Let her know that You are her Healer and her Strength.

We pray for the other daughter, that You would open doors for her to step into the purpose You have for her. Provide for her financially and emotionally as she transitions out of her current job and into the work You have prepared for her. May she use her gifts in the arts and worship to glorify Your name.

Lord, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen this family, unite them in Your love, and let Your light shine brightly in their lives. May they all surrender fully to You, walking in obedience and faith.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
