Prayers Needed For Custody Hearing To Go In My Favor

Prayers urgently needed. I was married for 12 years and fully dedicated to my ex-husband and our 3 children. We separated two years ago and are now divorced. The children remained with me, and he has been so difficult, including calling me names, kicking us out of our home, having his girlfriend verbally attack me, withholding information like his phone number and address, and blocking my number stating that updates on our children is harassment. I filed for custody several months ago. He then filed for custody as well. We both have attorneys. We had to go through a custody evaluation. He lied horribly about me. My attorney told me not to worry about it because he had to prove his lies. She was wrong. The evaluator believed him, and her report came in today. She says that I'm a horrible mother and that he should have full custody of our children! She feels that I have no ambition because I'm a stay-at-home mother. She also feels that I'm mentally ill because I believe in God and the Bible. My attorney said that her report was clearly biased, and she is going to try to file a motion to have it stricken so a judge never sees it. My prayer request is that the Father intervenes, lets the truth be shown, and that I am awarded custody of my children. This is an uphill battle and I don't even know what to do. My honesty has only hurt me. I didn't say a foul word about him because he was a good husband and father. I need the Lord to come through for me.

Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus's name, help ### husband kids getting together again overcoming the darkness influencing their life more troublesomely times, help to get them out of troubled world, restore them getting together to be fixed and resolved in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, ever. I saw way too much of this while I was working in the legal field. Ask that a new guardian ad litem be appointed and have an independent evaluation done. The report does sound biased, and I pray that your attorney is able to get approval to have the report stricken from record. Just because you are a stay-at-home mom does not mean that you have no motivation. You did the right thing by not speaking badly about your husband. There is too much mudslinging that goes on in divorces and custody battles. I don't think that individuals realize that these allegations become permanent public records of the court that are open to anyone. Your children 5-10 years down the road may be curious as to what happened and can pull these records. Don't say anything that you would not want your children to see or hear. I pray that God works through you and guides your attorney so that you can maintain custody of your children! Judges also see many of these cases and usually are able to spot the untruthfulness of others. I pray that the judge is guided by God to make the right decision concerning your children. I pray that God works a miracle in this custody matter. I pray that He touches your ex-husband and fills him with His Word and love so that your ex-husband will know that what he is doing is wrong and that he will be able to keep an open line of communication regarding your children. Even though you two are divorced, it is important that both parents be involved in the raising of children.

Let this woman be delivered out of this turmoil.

Also father, I pray that she put her priorities in order and realize that she does not have to accept this abuse.

Allow her to make healthy boundaries.
