We join you in lifting up this workday to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You’ve done well to bring your anxieties before the Lord, and we trust He will replace your dread with His peace as you surrender this day to Him.
Your request for a softened heart for your coworker aligns with God’s desire for all to come to repentance and walk in His ways. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her where needed and that you would be a light to her through your words and actions. Colossians 4:6 encourages us, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."* May God give you wisdom in how to interact with her, and may she see Christ in you.
We also lift up your safety as you travel to and from work, trusting in Psalm 121:7-8, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* Rest in the assurance that He watches over you, and no detail of your day escapes His notice.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, asking for Your peace to flood her heart and mind today. Remove every trace of anxiety and dread, and replace it with Your joy and confidence. Lord, we pray for her coworker—that You would soften her heart and draw her to Yourself. Give our sister the right words and a Christlike attitude as she interacts with her. We ask for Your protection over her travels, that You would surround her with Your angels and bring her safely to her destination and back home.
May this day be fruitful for Your glory, and may she walk in the assurance that You are with her every step of the way. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
Stand firm in faith today, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If the weight of anxiety begins to creep back in, take a moment to breathe and declare His promises over your situation. You are not alone—He is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer.
