Prayers for Workday Today

Osvelis

Humble Servant
Please let me have a good day at work today, Friday I cried so much at work and had a bad day. Please let all the dread and anxiety I have go away. Please soften the heart of a coworker who is a bully and horrible to me. Lastly pray I am able to get to and from work safely. I ask for all this in Jesus' name. Thank you.

We lift you up before the Father today, dear sister, knowing that He cares deeply for every tear you’ve shed and every burden you carry. Your heart’s cry has not gone unnoticed by Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We praise you for ending your request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

The dread and anxiety you’re facing are not from the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and His peace—unlike the fleeting calm the world offers—guards your heart and mind in Christ (Philippians 4:7). Stand firm in this truth today, refusing to let fear dictate your day. Instead, fix your mind on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8). When anxiety rises, whisper prayers of trust to the Lord, and let His Word be your anchor.

We also pray for the coworker who has been unkind to you. The Lord sees their behavior, and He calls us to bless those who curse us and pray for those who mistreat us (Luke 6:28). This is not easy, but it is powerful. Their bullying may stem from their own brokenness, but the Lord can soften even the hardest heart. We ask that God would convict them of their words and actions, leading them to repentance. May He replace their hostility with kindness and their harshness with patience. And as you face them today, we pray the Lord would give you wisdom in how to respond, strength to endure, and the grace to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Remember, vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), but you are called to walk in love and leave the outcome to Him.

Your safety is precious to the Lord, and we ask for His protecting hand over you as you travel to and from work. He is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and no harm will befall you apart from His sovereign will. Trust Him to order your steps and surround you with His angels (Psalm 91:11). Even in the busyness of the day, take moments to breathe and acknowledge His presence with you. You are not alone—He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

Finally, we encourage you to worship in the midst of this trial. Praise shifts our focus from our circumstances to the One who holds all things together. Sing or declare scriptures over yourself today, such as: *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Let this be your declaration as you walk into your workplace.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her weary heart into Your capable hands. Lord, You collect every tear she has cried, and You see the pain she has endured. We ask that You would wipe away her tears and replace her sorrow with Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Bind up every wound caused by unkind words and actions, and let Your healing balm cover her spirit. Remove the dread and anxiety that have taken root, and fill her instead with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we pray for her coworker who has acted as a bully. Soften their heart, Lord, and convict them of their sin. Let them see our sister through Your eyes—valued, loved, and created in Your image. Break the spirit of hostility in them and replace it with kindness and respect. Give our sister the grace to forgive and the wisdom to know how to respond in a way that honors You. May her light shine so brightly in the darkness that others see her good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16).

We ask for Your protection over her as she travels. Guard her coming and going, and let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround her with Your angels, and let Your presence go before her, making her path straight and safe.

Lord, we declare that today will be a good day—not because circumstances will necessarily change, but because You are with her, and Your goodness and mercy follow her all the days of her life (Psalm 23:6). Let her testify at the end of this day of Your faithfulness and love. Strengthen her, Lord, and let her find rest in You alone.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We know how tough it can be to face a workday after a difficult day. Let's claim these promises together:

"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

Let's trust that God is with us, guiding our steps and giving us the strength we need for today. Let's also remember to be kind to ourselves, just as we'd be to a dear friend going through the same thing.

And hey, let's not forget to breathe! Inhale peace, exhale anxiety. We can do this, one breath at a time, knowing that our Savior is right beside us.

Let's also pray for that coworker, that God would soften their heart and show them the error of their ways. And let's ask for wisdom in how to respond, remembering that our words and actions should reflect the love and grace we've received from Jesus.

We're praying for your safety too, that God would keep you in the palm of His hand as you travel to and from work.

You're not alone, sister. We're in this together, and we're claiming these promises for you today. Let's trust that God is working all things together for our good and His glory.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up before the Lord during what sounded like an incredibly difficult week. Our hearts have been burdened for you as we’ve prayed for God’s peace to replace the anxiety and dread you’ve been carrying, for His protection over your commute, and for His supernatural work in the heart of that challenging coworker. We’ve asked the Lord to be your strength and comfort, especially after those moments of deep sorrow at work, and to turn your tears into testimony of His faithfulness.

Now that some time has passed, we’d love to hear how the Lord has been at work in your situation. Has He brought moments of unexpected peace or favor at work? Have you seen any softening in the attitude of your coworker, or has God given you fresh grace to navigate those interactions? Maybe He’s provided small but meaningful encouragements—a kind word from someone else, a smoother day, or even just the quiet assurance of His presence. If so, we’d be so blessed to rejoice with you in a praise report, giving Him all the glory for how He’s moving.

If this season is still heavy and the answers haven’t come in the way you’d hoped, please don’t hesitate to share an update or repost your request. We’re here to keep standing with you, asking the Lord to break through in power and remind you that you’re not forgotten—by Him or by us. Sometimes the battles last longer than we’d like, but we serve a God who sees your tears, hears your cries, and is working even when we can’t see it yet.

Wherever this finds you today, we’re praying that you’ll feel the nearness of Jesus in a tangible way. May He fill you with His hope as you trust Him for each new day, and may you sense His love surrounding you like a shield. You’re not alone in this, sister, and we’re not giving up on praying for you.

We love you and are cheering you on as you keep seeking Him.
