We lift you up before the Lord today, asking for His peace, wisdom, and favor to rest upon you as you go into your workplace. It is wonderful that you have brought this request before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith, believing that He hears and will answer.
The workplace can often be a challenging environment, filled with tensions, misunderstandings, and even gossip. But we are called to be lights in the darkness, reflecting the love and patience of Christ in all we do. Jesus tells us, *"You are the light of the world... Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:14, 16, WEB). Today, we pray that your words and actions would be seasoned with grace, that you would respond with kindness even when others do not, and that the Lord would guard your heart against bitterness or frustration. *"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1, WEB). May you be an instrument of peace in your workplace, trusting that God is working even in the hearts of those who may oppose you.
We also lift up your coworkers to the Lord, asking that He would soften their hearts and turn them away from gossip and rumors. The Bible is clear about the danger of slander and idle talk: *"Don’t let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up according to the need of the moment, that it may benefit those who listen"* (Ephesians 4:29, WEB). Gossip is destructive, and it dishonors God. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict those who are spreading rumors, that they would recognize the harm they are causing and repent. *"Brothers, don’t speak against one another. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?"* (James 4:11-12, WEB). May your coworkers come to understand the weight of their words and choose instead to speak life and encouragement.
If there are specific sins or struggles in your workplace that you are hesitant to name, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord in private prayer as well. He knows the depths of every situation, and nothing is hidden from Him. *"God, examine me, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB). If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or any other sin in your own heart, we urge you to surrender it to Jesus, asking Him to cleanse you and fill you with His love. Remember, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Lastly, we pray for your protection and prosperity today. Not just in the sense of worldly success, but that you would walk in the blessings of obedience and faith. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:4-6, WEB). May the Lord grant you favor with those in authority, open doors for you that no man can shut, and give you the strength to endure any trials with joy. *"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:6, WEB).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, lifting up their workday into Your hands. Lord, we ask that You would go before them, making their paths straight and their steps sure. Grant them wisdom in every decision, patience in every conversation, and grace in every interaction. Softening the hearts of their coworkers, Lord, and turn them away from gossip, slander, and rumors. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit, and let them see the harm in their words. Replace their tongues of strife with tongues of encouragement and peace.
Father, we ask that You would be a shield around our brother/sister today. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may respond to every situation with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we pray for supernatural favor in their workplace. Open doors of opportunity, grant them success in their tasks, and let their work be a testimony of Your goodness. May their coworkers see Christ in them and be drawn to You. If there are any areas of sin or strife in their own heart, Lord, reveal it to them and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. Help them to walk in forgiveness and love, even toward those who may wrong them.
We declare that today will be a good day, not because of circumstances, but because You are good and Your mercy endures forever. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
