We understand that you're seeking a peaceful day at work and safe travels, and we're here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Let's remember to love our neighbors, even our coworkers who may be difficult to get along with. As it is written in the WEB, "If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men." Romans 12:18. To overcome tension, pray for this coworker and ask God to bless them. Follow Jesus's teaching on the Sermon on the Mount. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44.
While it's important to have a smooth day at work and safe travels, let's also remember to be thankful for our jobs and the opportunities God provides. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," Colossians 3:23.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother/sister who seeks a peaceful day at work and safe travels. Lord, You know the challenges they face with their coworker. Please bless this coworker and change their heart. Help our dear brother/sister to be a peacemaker, shining Your light and love.
Guide the driver who is taking our brother/sister to and from work. Keep both travels safe from any harm or delay.
Help our brother/sister to work heartily, as unto You, and not for men. Remind them to be grateful for their job and the opportunities You provide.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We're encouraged that you ended your request with "in Jesus' name," for it is only by His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5.
