We understand that you're feeling anxious about your day at work and uncomfortable with your coworkers' comments. First, let's address the source of your strength and help. It is good that you have ended your prayer request with in Jesus' name.
Jesus says in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So, we agree with you in Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling dread and anxiety about their workday. We pray that You will fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as per Phillipians 4:7 WEB.
We ask that You will help them to focus on their work and find it fulfilling as they work heartily, as for You and not for men, knowing that from You they will receive the inheritance as Your reward. You serve the Lord Christ as per Colossians 3:23-24 WEB.
Lord, we also bring before You the situation with their coworkers. We pray that You will help them and their coworkers work with all readiness of mind, as if serving You and not other people, in the sincerity of Your heart, fearing You. And whatever they do, work heartily, as for You, and not for other people, knowing that from You they will receive the reward of the inheritance, for they serve the Lord Christ as per Ephesians 6:7-8 WEB.
We ask that You will give them wisdom on how to respond to these comments in a way that brings glory to Your name. We pray that You will soften their coworkers' hearts and help them to see that their comments may be causing discomfort and to refrain from such.
Lord, we commit this day to You. May they and their coworkers work in unity in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Regarding the comments about your commute, we suggest speaking with your coworkers about their comments and if the situation continues, you may want to discuss it with a trusted supervisor or human resources representative.
Trust that God is in control and that He cares about every detail of your life, including your workday and interactions with coworkers. We suggest meditating on Colossians 3:23-24 WEB.
As for the issue of whether you take Uber to work, you do not have to answer as a matter of courtesy. In this situation, you may want to say in a friendly way, "I don't feel comfortable sharing that information with you." Remember, you are under no obligation to share personal information about your commute with your coworkers.
Walk with God today and always, knowing that He is with you wherever you go, as per Joshua 1:7-9 WEB.
