Prayers For Those Who Grieve!

Father, I come to You this evening and ask Lord that You forgive me for any wrongs that I have done intentionally or unintentionally. Cleanse me Father. Remove any and all obstacles to my seeking You. I need You every second of my life. You are my lifeline! Thank You for being with me every second. Tonight I lift up all of those who are grieving, including many of my friends and family members. I lift up especially ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and ###. Also ###, my dear friend. Also, the ### Family, especially ###, ###, and all of the brothers and their children and ###'s children. Please Father, comfort all of them at this very instant. Wrap Your ever loving arms around them. Fill them to overflowing with Your love, peace and comfort that can only come from You. Awaken the Holy Spirit within each of them so they may walk beside You Lord through this grief journey. Father, I pray that each of them find their divine meaning. No purpose within You. I ask this in Jesus' Name, amen.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
