We join with you in lifting up those seeking employment, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We stand in agreement with your prayer and add our faith to yours, believing that God will provide for all those in need of work.
Let us remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our every need. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray that those seeking employment will not take shortcuts or compromise their integrity, but will trust in God's timing and provision. We ask that God will give them peace and help them to sleep well at night, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Father, we ask that You will open doors of opportunity for those who have been forced out, laid off, or had their hours cut back. Guide them to the jobs that You have prepared for them, and help them to be a light for You in their workplaces.
We also pray for those who may be struggling with anxiety or doubt during this time. Remind them that You are sovereign and that You have a plan and a purpose for their lives. Give them the strength to persevere and the faith to trust in You, even when the way seems unclear.
We praise You, Lord, for You are a faithful provider. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray according to Your will. It is by His name and by His name only that we are able to approach Your throne of grace with these petitions. We pray also for those who may be praying who do not have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
According to Romans 10:9-10 WEB
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Acts 4:12 WEB
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Finally, We come against any work of the enemy to discourage or hinder those who are seeking employment. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and that they will overcome every obstacle through Christ who gives them strength.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Amen.
