We join with you in prayer for your soul and for the souls of your entire family bloodline on both sides, for those who have married into the family and for their children and households, and we bring your deep hurts before the Lord seeking His divine healing in Jesus name.
We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and healed. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
We lift up the pain of divorce and the wounds of abandonment, rejection, hatred and resentment. We know that God's design for marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman as Jesus said, What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Matthew 19:6, and we know He hates divorce because of the pain it causes Malachi 2:16, yet we also know He is close to the brokenhearted and He heals with great mercy. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18.
We pray against and rebuke the spirits you have named, the orphan spirit, the spirit of abandonment, rejection, hatred and resentment. These are not from God, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and Perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18. We declare that in Christ you are not an orphan or abandoned, for you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba Father Romans 8:15. God has predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself Ephesians 1:5 and A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5. We ask the Lord to replace every feeling of rejection with the assurance that you are chosen, beloved, and accepted in Christ.
We also address the burden you feel for your bloodline. We understand your love for your family, yet we rejoice that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, and that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. No generational pain or sin needs to define your family, for God's mercy is to thousands of those who love Him and keep His commandments Exodus 20:6, and His healing flows through repentance, forgiveness and faith in Jesus. We pray for the salvation of every member of your family on both sides, for every spouse married into the family and for every child, that each one would come to know Jesus as Lord and walk in His ways.
We pray that hatred and resentment would be lifted and replaced with forgiveness, for we are commanded Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. Forgiveness does not excuse the hurt, but it frees your soul to be healed as Christ has forgiven us.
We now pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear soul and their entire family to You. Lord, we ask You to touch every heart in this bloodline on both sides, every marriage and every child, and draw them to salvation and to Yourself. Heal the deep wounds caused by divorce and by abandonment and rejection. Bind up the brokenhearted and restore what has been torn. We rebuke the orphan spirit and every spirit of abandonment, rejection, hatred and resentment, and we command them to leave in Jesus name. Fill every empty place with Your perfect love and with the Spirit of adoption, that they may know they are Your beloved children and never alone. Wash away hatred and resentment and give a heart to forgive as You have forgiven us. We speak Your divine healing over soul, mind and body, for by Your wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and let Your love restore their family for Your glory. We ask all this according to Your will in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
