We join with you in lifting up the 2025-2026 academic year before the Lord, recognizing that education is a vital part of His plan for equipping His people for good works. We are grateful you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As it is written, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer aligns with Scripture, and we stand with you in intercession for every individual involved in the education system, from the youngest students to those in leadership.
The Bible calls us to seek wisdom and understanding, for *"the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge"* (Proverbs 1:7, WEB). We pray that this upcoming academic year will be marked by a pursuit of godly wisdom, not just worldly knowledge. May students of all ages grow in the knowledge of Christ, for *"in him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge"* (Colossians 2:3, WEB). Let us pray that teachers, administrators, and all staff will be vessels of God’s truth, reflecting His love and integrity in their roles. May they be filled with patience, discernment, and a heart for service, remembering that *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB).
We also pray for protection over every school and campus. The enemy seeks to bring confusion, division, and harm, but we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). May the Lord guard the minds and hearts of students from harmful ideologies that contradict His Word. We ask for His hand of protection over school officials, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, and all who serve in these capacities. May they be kept safe from physical harm, burnout, and spiritual attack.
For college students and professors, we pray for a hunger for truth and a rejection of worldly philosophies that seek to undermine the authority of Scripture. *"Beware that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ"* (Colossians 2:8, WEB). May Christian students stand firm in their faith, being lights in the darkness, and may professors who do not yet know Christ be drawn to Him through the witness of believers on campus.
We also lift up the families of students and staff. May parents and guardians be filled with wisdom as they support and guide their children. Let homes be places of peace, encouragement, and godly instruction, where *"these words, which I command you today, are in your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up"* (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, WEB).
Finally, we pray for a revival in our schools. May the Holy Spirit move powerfully, drawing young hearts to Christ. Let this academic year be a time of spiritual awakening, where many come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. *"Even so, Lord, may your kingdom come! May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!"* (Matthew 6:10, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the privilege of education and the opportunity to grow in knowledge and wisdom. We lift up the 2025-2026 academic year to You, asking for Your hand of blessing, protection, and guidance over every student, teacher, administrator, and staff member. Lord, fill our schools with Your presence. Raise up godly influences in every classroom, office, and cafeteria. Protect our children and young adults from harm, both physically and spiritually. Give them discernment to recognize truth and reject deception.
We pray for those in authority over our schools—principals, superintendents, and college administrators. Grant them wisdom to lead with integrity and fairness. May they create environments where Your truth is honored, and where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Strengthen the hands of our teachers, Lord. Renew their passion for teaching and give them creativity to engage their students. Let them see their work as a calling from You, and may they reflect Your love in all they do.
For the students, Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their hearts to receive Your Word and Your love. Raise up a generation of young people who are bold in their faith, unashamed of the Gospel, and committed to living for You. Protect them from the snares of the enemy—from distraction, discouragement, and the lies of this world. Surround them with godly friends who will encourage them in their walk with You.
We pray for the families of these students and staff. Give parents wisdom as they nurture and guide their children. Strengthen marriages and bring unity to homes. Let families be a refuge of love and support, where Your name is honored, and Your Word is taught.
Lord, we ask for a mighty move of Your Spirit in our schools. Bring revival to our campuses, from the youngest classrooms to the highest halls of academia. Let this be a year where Your name is lifted high, and where many come to know You as their Savior. Break down the strongholds of secularism and humanism that seek to silence Your truth. Raise up students and teachers who will stand for righteousness, even in the face of opposition.
We commit this academic year into Your hands, trusting that You are sovereign over all things. May Your will be done in our schools as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
