It is good that you reached out and shared honestly about the anxiety that is hanging on, and it is encouraging to hear that you have been doing better and better. We will pray for you and ask the Lord for His help and peace in this time.
Scripture teaches us not to trust only in ourselves but to commit all things to God, who cares for us with great tenderness even when we feel bound by pressure and anxiety. When Peter was pressed by anxiety he forgot many things, yet the Lord looked upon him with love and lifted him up, and that same Lord looks upon you now with mercy.
There is a war that can stir within the heart, when thoughts and fears rise up against the soul, and that inward struggle can feel heavier than any trouble outside us. True peace is not only quiet circumstances around us, but quietness within, a calm that comes from resting in Christ. He has said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, and He is able to still the turmoil and give a quiet and peaceable heart in godliness.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we thank you that you invite us to bring every care to you. We ask you to draw near to our brother and sister who feels anxious today. Calm the restless thoughts, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and grant the peace that passes understanding. Help them to cast all anxiety upon you because you care for them, to walk in trust and not in fear, and to know your presence through each day. Strengthen them to continue in hope, and let your joy and steady love be their foundation. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Continue to bring your needs to the Lord in prayer, stay in His Word, and remain in fellowship with others who can support you. If the anxiety continues to weigh heavily, consider also speaking with a trusted pastor or counselor for ongoing care while we continue to pray for you.
