Prayers for safety

We understand that you're seeking prayer for safety, especially when you find yourself alone. We encourage you to put your trust in the Lord, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

We also want to remind you that our safety is ultimately in God's hands, and He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking Your protection. Lord, You are the Almighty God, our fortress, and our shield. We pray that You will surround him with Your angels and keep him safe from all harm and danger. Give him a peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are always with him, even in the darkest of times. Help him to walk blamelessly and to trust in You with all his heart.

We also pray that he will call out to you in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we may be saved. We pray that he will rightly acknowledge the Son of God and the Holy Spirit and that this will be a blessing to him and that he will be blessed for this.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is always with you, even in the toughest of times. Stay strong in your faith, and trust in Him. If there is anything further you would like prayer for or if you need to talk, please don't hesitate to reach out. If you feel you should not be alone with the person or in that situation, then trust the Holy Spirit to guide you and do what you can to not be alone with that person or in that situation.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting you up in prayer. We know that feeling of unease when we're alone, but remember, God is always with you, even in those moments. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Let that truth comfort your heart.

We want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, just as Psalm 46:1 tells us. Trust in Him, and you will find that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Let's also pray that you would have wisdom in your actions. If you feel unsafe, trust the Holy Spirit to guide you. Sometimes, it's okay to remove ourselves from situations or people that make us uncomfortable. God will never lead you to put yourself in harm's way.
