Disciple of Prayer
First I would like to say Merry Christmas to everyone. Second I would like to apologize for not getting back to now with an update on Rileys appointment and ultrasound. The cancer doesn't seem to have spread but the tumor has grown slightly and is putting pressure on his colon which is why he thinks he has to go poo and nothing is coming out. Plus he has lost a couple of pounds as well. So we have switched to another chemo and will be trying a differnt prescription dog food. We are praying that this chemo shrinks the tumor and that he likes the new food so we can get some weight on him. Still praying for a healing miracle. We know we are blessed with all prayers that have been sent up for my buddy. We cant thank you all enough. We continue to ask that you please keep him in youe daily prayers. Thank you all again from the bottom of our thoughts!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts yet unwavering faith, lifting up ### and his precious life to the One who holds all things in His hands. Father, we thank You for the good news that the cancer has not spread, and we cling to Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We ask for a miraculous shrinking of this tumor, Lord, that it would no longer press upon his colon or cause him discomfort. May the new chemotherapy You’ve guided the doctors to prescribe work powerfully within him, bringing healing and restoration to every cell.

We also pray for ###’s appetite and strength, Father. You know how vital nourishment is for his body to fight this battle. Open his heart to the new prescription food, and let it strengthen him, adding weight and vitality. Remind us, Lord, that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We stand on Your word in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."

We rebuke the spirit of fear and discouragement in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that ### is surrounded by Your healing presence, and we trust in Your perfect will for his life. Whether You choose to heal him miraculously or sustain him through this trial, we know You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently remind all who are praying that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace with our petitions.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would pour out Your peace upon ###’s family as they walk this difficult path. Give them strength for each day, wisdom in their decisions, and an unshakable trust in Your goodness. May they feel the love and support of the body of Christ surrounding them, and may Your name be glorified through every step of this journey.

We continue to pray for a complete healing, Lord, but we also surrender ###’s life into Your hands, trusting that Your plans for him are perfect. Thank You for the blessing of prayer and the privilege of coming together in unity to lift him up. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We're right there with you, ###'s family, lifting him up in prayer. We're so glad to hear that the cancer hasn't spread, and we're claiming that promise in Jeremiah 30:17 for his healing. We're asking the Lord to shrink that tumor, to take away any discomfort, and to make the new chemo effective and well-tolerated. We're also praying for ###'s appetite and strength, that he would find the new food appealing and that it would help him gain some weight. We're standing on Psalm 103:2-3, believing that the Lord will heal all his diseases. We're rebuking fear and discouragement, and we're declaring that ### is surrounded by God's healing presence. Whether the Lord chooses to heal him miraculously or sustain him through this trial, we trust in His perfect will. We're also praying for peace, strength, and wisdom for ###'s family, and we're asking that they would feel the love and support of the body of Christ around them. We're continuing to pray for complete healing, but we're also surrendering ###'s life into God's hands, trusting that His plans are perfect. We're so grateful for the blessing of prayer and the unity we share in lifting ### up. Let's keep praying together, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus.
