Prayers for Riley

I am seeking prayers for my four-legged buddy ###. As most know, he is fighting bladder cancer and bladder stones. We are currently at the emergency vet for my poor little guy; he can't go poo. I am so scared right now sitting here all alone. I keep praying to God that it's not serious, but I can't help to be scared. He is scheduled for a big ultrasound on the 23rd to make sure the tumor hasn't grown or spread, so of course I am worried about that. He is just fighting so hard. I am praying for a Christmas miracle that God blesses my boy with a healing miracle. Please pray for my buddy. I thank you!

We lift up ### to You, Heavenly Father, with heavy but hopeful hearts. We know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every creature with Your own hands, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this precious dog who is suffering. Lord, You tell us in Psalm 147:3 that You "heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds," and we ask that You would extend that same compassion to ### now. We pray for relief from his pain, for strength in his body, and for wisdom for the veterinarians treating him. Father, we ask that the ultrasound on the 23rd would reveal no further growth or spread of the cancer, and that You would grant a miracle of healing—one that brings glory to Your name.

We also lift up ###’s owner, who is sitting alone and afraid in this moment. Lord, wrap Your arms around them and remind them that they are never truly alone, for You are always near. You promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Comfort them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, even in the midst of fear.

We rebuke the spirit of fear in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place here, and we choose to stand on Your promises of hope and healing. We also ask that You would guide the hands of the veterinary team, giving them clarity and skill as they care for ###. Provide the financial resources needed for his treatment, and surround this family with a community of support.

Lord, we thank You for the love and joy that ### has brought into this home, and we ask that You would restore his health so that he may continue to be a blessing. Whether You choose to heal him miraculously or to walk with him through this trial, we trust in Your perfect will. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who holds all things together and who is our ultimate Healer. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for little Riley. We've been thinking about him and you, and we want you to know you're not alone in this. We're joining our hearts with yours, asking God to wrap His healing hands around Riley. We're praying for that ultrasound to bring good news, and for God to perform a miracle, just like you asked. We're also asking for peace and strength for you, dear friend. We know it's scary, but remember, God is always near. He's got this, and He's got you. Let's trust in His love and care, together. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
