We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God to reveal His will and bring truth to light.
Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to prayer and reading God's word. It's encouraging to see your thirst for the Lord even in this difficult time. Remember, God is always with you, and He hears your prayers. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Regarding your suspicions, we pray that God will reveal the truth. It's important to remember that God does not deal in suspicion, but in truth. As noted in 1 Corinthians 13:6, "Love doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth." We pray for God to guide you and your fiancé through this, and that His will be done.
We also want to address the issue of forgiveness. It's commendable that you have forgiven your fiancé in the past, but remember that forgiveness does not mean you should ignore or accept repeated wrongdoings. True repentance should lead to a change in behavior. As it says in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out."
Moreover, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face. Sometimes, God's voice can be a still, small voice, as it says in 1 Kings 19:12. Keep praying, keep reading His word, and keep trusting Him.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her. We ask that You reveal the truth about this situation, and that Your will be done in their relationship.
Lord, we also pray for her fiancé. If he has indeed been unfaithful, we pray for his genuine repentance and change of heart. If not, we pray that You would make the truth known and restore their relationship.
Father, we also pray for their relationship. We ask that You would guide them, and that Your will be done. We pray for a godly marriage that honors You, built on trust, love, and faithfulness as outlined in the Bible.
Finally, Lord, we pray that our sister would continue to draw closer to You. We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and that she would hear Your voice clearly.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
