We hear your cry for protection and stand with you in this spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater and who has already won the victory through Jesus Christ. The attacks you’re experiencing, especially in your dreams, are not coincidental—they are spiritual warfare, and we must take them seriously. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is why we must put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18, so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is no protection or victory outside of Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Only then can you claim the promises of God and the authority we have in His name. If you have already done this, we encourage you to reaffirm your commitment to Him and to walk closely with Him each day.
Now, let us pray for your protection and deliverance. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, who is feeling attacked and overwhelmed by the enemy, especially in their dreams. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You promised in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is attempting to harass them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17, and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned.
Father, we ask that You would fill their mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them restful sleep and guard their mind from the enemy’s attacks. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, and their dreams. We command every evil spirit that is trying to infiltrate their thoughts or dreams to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that they are covered by the blood of the Lamb and that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith and remind them of Your promises. Help them to stand firm in Your truth and to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your light and not in the darkness of the enemy. We pray that You would give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the wisdom to stand against them. Surround them with godly believers who can encourage and support them in this battle.
We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your spiritual life. Begin each day by putting on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and meditate on God’s Word day and night (Joshua 1:8). Speak Scripture aloud over your life and your home, declaring God’s promises and rebuking the enemy in Jesus’ name. Consider fasting as a way to deepen your dependence on God and to break any strongholds the enemy may have in your life. Remember, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Lastly, we want to remind you that you are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated, and we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love and protection.
We will continue to stand in the gap for you, lifting you up in prayer and declaring God’s victory over your life. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
