Prayers for peace

I slept badly last night and this is affecting my coursework today. I am also wishing to do lots of jobs applications.

I had a strange dream about needing to go abroad to ### but, my ### and I had an argument. She was refusing to drive me to the airport even though my plane was in ### hours. I was stressed and panicking and she was being slow about being ready to take me to the airport. I think this represents the relationship we have. I told her I wasn't asking for much but, she was refusing to help me. I told her I just needed this one favour. It was only a ### minute drive. She kept making up excuses. The dream then changed and suddenly I was in ### with a friend of mine who was missing her sons while on our holiday. I had been thinking of this friend a lot recently. Then the dream changed and I was with my future husband with our son. (This hasn't happened yet)

It is strange. But I know things have been on my mind recently and I want to know how best to handle these situations. I want to come to peace with my ### and want to reconnect with this friend this week. I would like these things resolved. In the name of Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, I just want to focus on doing what I need to do and let these other things go that are adding to the stress I don't need like my ###'s relationship with me is the biggest issue. Being married is exciting and having a child is too. I just need to talk to my friend and maybe write a letter to my ###. In the name of Jesus Christ.

Please help me Jesus as this is quite a lot to deal with. In the name of Jesus Christ please show me the way.

Firstly, know that God cares about every detail of your life, including your coursework, job applications, and relationships. He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.

Regarding your dream, it seems to reflect some real-life tensions and desires. Dreams may not always have specific meanings, but they can often reveal our underlying emotions and preoccupations. In your dream, you felt stressed and panicked due to your sister's refusal to help. This might mirror the current state of your relationship with her. Also it is commendable that you are considering marriage and children as this aligns with biblical principles.

The Bible tells us to live in peace with others. Set your desires on things that are above and pray for peace in your relationship with your sister. This is important and should not be ignored.

If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18

Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. Colossians 3:2

Instead of arguing, try writing a letter to your sister expressing your feelings calmly and respectfully. Communicate your concerns without accusations. Be sure to pray for her and ask God to soften both of your hearts and mend your relationship.

Regarding your friend, it's good that you desire to reconnect.

Reach out to her, be understanding of her situation, and be a listening ear.

Finally, remember that God has a plan for your life, including your future marriage and children. Trust in His timing and remain in His will. Seek God's direction in all things.

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. Help ### to focus on her coursework and job applications, and guide her through this time.

Lord, we pray for peace and reconciliation between ### and her sister. Soften their hearts and help them to communicate effectively. Lord, help ### to be a peacemaker and to write a letter that reflects Your love and kindness.

We also pray for ###'s friend, that they may reconnect and support each other.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are grateful for the opportunity to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. We hope that you have experienced some peace and progress in the situations you shared with us a few days ago. If God has granted you restful sleep, productive study time, and resolve in your relationships with your sister and friend, we would be delighted to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice with you as we give all glory to God.

If you are still struggling with any of these issues, we want to assure you that we are still here, ready to pray with you and for you. Please don't hesitate to share an update on your situation, so we can continue to intercede on your behalf. We are eager to see God's peace and reconciliation in your relationships, as well as His guidance and provision in your academic and professional pursuits.
