Prayers for peace and rest for my ###

Fyroozoergate

Disciple of Prayer
Please lift up my wife in your prayers this week. She has been carrying a heavy burden on behalf of our daughter, navigating a very competitive and frustrating youth sports recruiting season. Witnessing the politics, unfairness, and constant noise has weighed heavily on her mind and spirit.

While I do my best to support and encourage her, she truly needs the Lords peace right now. Please pray that Jesus meets her right where she is, calms every anxiety, lifts the heavy weight off her shoulders, and fills her with quiet confidence that God is in complete control of our daughter's future. We are so grateful for your prayers.

We join with you in lifting up your wife before the Lord this week and we thank you for being a faithful husband who sees her burden and brings her to Jesus in prayer. It is a beautiful picture of marriage as God designed it, for a husband to love and cherish his wife and to cover her in prayer, and we are encouraged by your care for her.

We understand how heavy this season has felt for her. The world of competitive youth sports can be so loud with politics and comparison and pressure, and when it concerns our children that weight can feel even heavier. It is easy for a mother's heart to carry anxieties that were never meant to be carried alone. We are reminded of what Scripture says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. The Lord does not want her to carry this burden on her own shoulders. He invites her to hand it over to Him.

We also hear your desire for her to have peace and rest, and that is exactly what Jesus promises to give. He says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. And again, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. That peace is not dependent on how the recruiting unfolds or whether the process feels fair. It comes from knowing who holds your daughter's future. As it is written, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3.

We want to encourage your wife and you together to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord's sovereignty and goodness over your daughter's life. Her future is not ultimately in the hands of coaches or rankings or politics, but in the hands of a loving Father who knows her and has good plans for her. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. This is a good time to intentionally quiet some of the noise where you can, to step away from the chatter and comparison, to rest in the Word and in prayer, and to remember that your daughter's worth and identity are in Christ first, not in sport.

We pray together for her now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear wife and mother to You. You see her heart, You know the heaviness she has been carrying for her daughter, and You know every frustration and worry that has weighed on her spirit. Lord, we ask that You meet her right where she is. Calm every anxious thought and quiet her mind with Your perfect peace. Lift this heavy burden from her shoulders and teach her to cast it fully upon You, for You care for her deeply. Fill her with a quiet and steady confidence that You are in complete control of her daughter's future and that no politics or unfairness can thwart Your purposes. Give her deep rest for her soul, refreshing sleep, and renewed strength. Help her to be still and know that You are God, and to find joy in trusting You day by day. Bless this husband as he continues to support and encourage her, and bless their marriage and their family as they seek You together. Let Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and our peace, amen.

Praying for your wife and daughter. May God bless your family with peace, resolution, divine protection, miracles and breakthroughs. I ask that God provides favorably for you and brings peace and serenity to your beloved wife. Sending love and light. Amen

Thank you for loving your wife so well and noticing the weight she is carrying. Watching your daughter walk through a competitive recruiting season, with all the politics and constant opinions, is exhausting for a parent who just wants what is good and fair for her child. It makes sense she feels worn down.

We admire how you are standing with her, and we want to stand with you both in prayer this week. The Lord sees her care for your daughter and He is not distant from that tired place.

In a season that feels so noisy, it can help to create a little protected quiet together. You might consider choosing one evening or a part of the weekend that is intentionally free from recruiting talk, messages, or scrolling, just time to rest, take a walk, talk about other things that bring life, or simply be still together. It will not fix the system around you, but it can give her mind and spirit a chance to breathe.

We are praying for her now.

Father, thank You for this wife and mother and for her faithful heart for her family. We ask You to meet her right where she is, to quiet the anxieties that swirl, to lift the heaviness she feels, and to give her deep rest and steady confidence that You hold her daughter's future with love and wisdom. Give her husband continued grace to encourage her well. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have carried your wife before the Lord with you this week, and we join your prayer that Christ Himself would meet her in this place of weariness and give her His own rest.

You have asked well, for the Lord delights to give what you seek. His Word says, Rest in the LORD, and again, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee. That perfect peace is not found in the settling of outward circumstances, nor in the quieting of all the noise and politics around your daughter, but in trusting Him who orders our steps and upholds us with His hand.

May the Lord show her that His thoughts toward her and toward your daughter are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give an expected end. He is not unmindful of the burden she carries, and He who invites the weary and heavy laden to come unto Him will give rest, present rest, perfect rest in the blood and righteousness of Jesus. As we learn of Him and trust Him simply, we find rest for our souls, even while duties press and cares throng around us.

We have prayed that Jesus would calm every anxious thought, lift the heavy weight from her shoulders, and fill her with a quiet confidence that God is in complete control of your daughter's future. May she know the restfulness of intellect that comes from believing His promises are sure, the peace of a conscience quieted by His grace, and the resignation of a heart that delights itself in the will of the Lord. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

May the Lord sustain her day by day, keep His law within her heart, and cause her to delight herself in the abundance of peace which He gives to those who love Him. We will continue to remember her, and your household, before the throne of grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this burden and giving us the privilege to pray for your wife and your family. We are lifting her up before the Lord this week and asking Him to meet her right where she is.

We pray that Jesus will calm every anxious thought and lift the heavy weight she has been carrying for your daughter. The recruiting season with all its politics, frustrations and constant noise can stir up much worry, but Christ has promised to give rest to those who come to Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and He invites weary souls to find rest in Him, not in outcomes or the opinions of others.

We are asking that the peace of God, which is steady and sure, will rule in her heart. When competing thoughts fight within, when one thought urges worry or striving and another urges trust, we pray that God's peace will act as umpire and give strength to trust and patience. That peace is not dependent on circumstances but comes from knowing that God Himself has made peace with us and is in complete control.

We pray that she will have quiet confidence that your daughter's future is in the Lord's hands. He sees her, He cares for her, and He guides each step according to His good will. May your wife feel His presence, know she is supported and loved, and be renewed with strength and hope.

We also thank God for you as you support and encourage her. May the Lord give you both unity and peace in your home, and may the God of love and peace be with you all. We will continue to pray that He fills her with rest, hope and the assurance that He holds your family in His care.
