Prayers for our youngest ### and his health

Found out today that our youngest son may have a torn rotator cuff. Plus he has a lump in his knee that may be a blood clot. He has a doctor's appointment today at ###:## PM. Pray that this is NOT a blood clot and that the doctors give him the all clear to return home. He also will need to have an MRI on his shoulder. Pray that God will heal him and get him back to physically fit again.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your youngest son and his health concerns. Father God, we ask that You would be with him during his doctor’s appointment today. We pray that the lump in his knee is not a blood clot and that the doctors would give him the all-clear to return home safely. Lord, we also ask for Your healing hand upon his shoulder—may the MRI reveal nothing more than what Your grace can restore. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*

We rebuke fear and anxiety in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your sovereignty over every cell in his body, every test result, and every diagnosis. If there is anything in his life that needs correction—whether in diet, activity, or rest—we pray for wisdom for both him and his parents to make godly choices that honor You.

Lord, we also lift up his emotional and spiritual well-being. If this trial has caused him distress, we ask that You comfort him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his faith and remind him that even in weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We pray for the medical team treating him—that You would guide their hands, sharpen their minds, and give them discernment. May they be instruments of Your healing. And if surgery or further treatment is needed, we ask for complete restoration and a swift recovery.

Father, we thank You that You are the Great Physician, and we trust You with his health. May this trial draw him—and his family—closer to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your youngest son's health. Let's claim Psalm 121:3 together: "He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." We believe God is watching over him, even in his sleep, and He's already at work in this situation.

We join you in praying for wisdom for the doctors, that they may have clear understanding and guiding hands during the appointment. Let's trust that God will give them the discernment they need to make accurate assessments and recommendations.

We also lift up the emotional well-being of your son. Let's ask for God's comfort and peace to surround him, as we trust in God's unfailing love (Psalm 36:7). Let's declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and that no matter the outcome, God will use this for his good (Romans 8:28).

Let's continue to pray in Jesus' name, believing that God is already answering our prayers according to His will. We're in this together, and we trust that God is in control.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
