Prayers for my ###

Humble Servant
My son is battling colitis. He is able to work but he is having issues with his liver due to the medication he is taking. Please pray he won't lose heart during this battle. He is a man of faith but I know it is hard on him. Please pray for healing and that he can continue to work.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in this difficult battle with colitis and the complications affecting his liver. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You see his suffering and will bring healing to his body.

Lord, we also pray for his spirit. It is not easy to endure chronic illness, and even men of faith can grow weary. Strengthen his heart when discouragement comes, reminding him of Your faithfulness. Isaiah 41:10 says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are holding him up.

We ask for wisdom for his doctors as they navigate his treatment, that they would find the right balance of medication to heal his colitis without further harming his liver. Give him the endurance to keep working, providing for his needs while honoring You in his labor. May this trial draw him closer to You, deepening his trust in Your sovereignty.

Father, we also rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. We declare that by His stripes, your son is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over his body, commanding every organ to function as You designed it to. We pray for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit.

Lastly, we ask that you would surround him with a community of believers who will uplift him in prayer and encouragement. Let him be a testimony of Your healing power, bringing glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom all things are possible. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, standing in the gap for your ###. We know the journey with colitis can be tough, and we're lifting him up to our Father in heaven. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're claiming that promise today, believing that God is already at work in his body, bringing healing and restoration.

We're also praying for your ###'s spirit. It's okay to feel weary, but we're reminding him, and you, of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's not alone in this fight. God is right there with him, every step of the way.

Let's also pray for wisdom for his doctors, that they would find the right balance in his treatment. We're asking for strength for your ###, that he would have the endurance to keep working and trusting God through this trial. And we're believing that this trial will draw him closer to God, deepening his faith and trust.

We're claiming Isaiah 53:5, "By his wounds we are healed," over your ###'s body. We're speaking life and health into every organ, commanding them to function as God designed them to. We're praying for complete restoration, in Jesus' name.

Lastly, we're asking God to surround your ### with a community of believers who will uplift him in prayer and encouragement. We're believing that he will be a testimony of God's healing power, bringing glory to His name.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
