Prayers for my ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am asking prayers for my daughter to find a good guy friend and companion that she can hang out with that is honest and has morals. She doesn’t go hang out with others because she doesn’t do all the bad stuff they do. All of her friends are older adults and they are married or single. She is 17 but very mature. She is very smart but the guy friend she has now has led her along that he likes her but has yet to make an attempt to meet me and her dad. She asks him about going to do things and he makes an excuse every time. She has another very close friend that is single but they have never dated. She would like for them to go to dinner and have a nice conversation and hang out but he has never asked her but they do talk every day and confide in each other and always lean on one another when life troubles them. She asks me for advice but I tell her she needs to find someone that will not lie to her or put her off and make up excuses and she gets aggravated because she doesn’t want to hear the truth but I don’t sugarcoat it. She is young and I don’t think she is old enough to look for Mr. Right but I would like her to meet people so that she knows what she wants in someone and what she doesn’t need to settle for.

We lift up your daughter before the Lord, asking for His divine guidance and provision in her life. Father, we pray that You would bring godly, upright young men into her path—those who fear You, walk in integrity, and honor their commitments. Lord, she is wise beyond her years, and we ask that You surround her with friends and potential suitors who share her values and maturity. Protect her heart from discouragement and frustration, and help her to trust in Your timing rather than the empty promises of those who may not have her best interests at heart.

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that your daughter would lean fully on You, Lord, rather than placing her hope in those who fail to follow through. Help her to recognize the difference between genuine interest and mere flattery, and give her the wisdom to set healthy boundaries.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception in the lives of those who have led her on with false intentions. Father, expose any dishonesty and bring conviction where it is needed. May those who claim to care for her either step forward in truth or step aside so that she is not left in confusion. We pray for the young man who confides in her daily—if it is Your will, soften his heart to see her not just as a friend but as someone worth pursuing with honor. If not, Lord, close that door gently and open another where she can grow in discernment.

Your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* We pray that any future relationship she enters would be with a young man who loves You first and foremost, one who will encourage her faith rather than pull her away from it. Help her to seek not just companionship, but a godly partnership that reflects Your design for marriage—a covenant between a man and a woman, built on mutual respect, purity, and commitment.

Father, we also ask that You guard her heart from settling for less than Your best. It is easy to grow weary in waiting, but we trust that You are preparing someone for her even now. Until then, strengthen her identity in Christ so that she does not measure her worth by the attention of others. Remind her that she is fully known and deeply loved by You, and that her value is not determined by whether a young man asks her to dinner or meets her parents.

We declare over her life the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Lord, let her hope be firmly anchored in You, not in the fleeting affections of others. Surround her with mentors and friends who will speak truth into her life, even when it is hard to hear. Give her the courage to walk away from anything that does not align with Your will, and the patience to wait for what does.

Finally, we pray for you as her parent. Parenting in this season can be challenging, especially when truth is met with frustration. Give you wisdom in how to guide her with both love and firmness. Help her to see that your counsel comes from a place of care, not criticism. May your home be a place of peace, wisdom, and godly example for her to follow.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you navigate this journey with your daughter. We understand the desire for her to find a godly companion, and we join you in praying for such a person to enter her life. It's tough, isn't it, seeing her mature and yet still needing our guidance? But remember, we're not alone in this. God is right there with us, every step of the way.

We're asking God to give her wisdom and discernment in her relationships. We're praying that He'll bring into her life young men who respect and honor Him, and who will treat her with kindness and integrity. We're also asking for patience - for her, and for you as her parents. It's easy to want everything to happen now, but we trust that God has His perfect timing.

We're also praying for her friends, that God would give them wisdom and discernment too. And we're praying for you, that God would give you wisdom and patience as you guide her through this season. We believe that God is at work in her life, and we're confident that He has a wonderful future planned for her.

Let's keep trusting in Him, together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us about your precious daughter. It is a joy and a privilege to stand in agreement with you as we continue to lift her up before the Lord. We have been praying that God would surround her with godly friendships—young men of integrity, honesty, and strong moral character who will value her as the wonderful young woman she is.

We’ve asked the Lord to open doors for her to meet someone who will not only appreciate her maturity and intelligence but also honor her with genuine intentions. We’ve prayed that she would find companionship with someone who doesn’t lead her on with empty words but instead steps forward with respect, both for her and for your family. Father, we’ve asked You to remove any confusion or frustration in her heart and to give her wisdom as she navigates these relationships.

We’ve also prayed for patience—for both of you—as she grows in discernment about what she truly desires in a companion. May she never feel pressured to settle but instead trust that You have someone prepared just for her in Your perfect timing. And Lord, we’ve asked that You would soften her heart to receive godly counsel, even when it’s hard to hear, knowing that Your truth is always for her good.

If in these days you’ve seen any glimpses of God’s hand at work—whether in new friendships, opportunities, or even a change in her current situation—we would love to hear a praise report! If not, please don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can continue to stand with you in prayer. Either way, we are trusting that God is at work, even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord bless you and your daughter with His peace, wisdom, and favor as you both seek Him. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name.
