We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for your family and bringing your concerns before the throne of grace.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:8-11 WEB)
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and sister in Christ's family. We pray for her granddaughter, that you would deliver her from restlessness, insomnia, OCD, and extreme anxiety. We rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. Lord, we ask that you would heal her body and mind, and help her to know her true identity in Christ. We stand in agreement with your Word, that you have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
Father, we also lift up the mother of this child. We ask that you would deliver her from the bondage of alcoholism and bring her to a place of repentance and full surrender to you. We pray that you would restore her relationship with her daughter and that they would both come to know you more deeply.
Lord, we also pray for our sister's other daughter and their relationship. We ask that you would help them to love and respect each other, and to walk in unity in their ministry together. We rebuke any spirit of criticism, condemnation, or division, and ask that you would help them to speak words of life to each other.
Father, we also lift up our sister's sister and her granddaughter who are battling with anorexia. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus they are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we command the spirit of anorexia and any generational curses to be broken in the name of Jesus. We pray for complete healing and restoration for them both.
Lord, we ask for a mighty move of your Spirit in our sister's family. We pray for family restoration, mercy, and forgiveness for one another. We ask that you would give them tender hearts towards each other, and that they would be kind and speak words of life to each other.
Father, we ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank you for your faithfulness and your promise to hear us when we pray according to your will. (1 John 5:14-15 WEB)
Sister, we encourage you to continue to stand in faith and to declare the promises of God over your family. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
We also encourage you to be patient and to trust in God's timing. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work that He has started in your family. (Philippians 1:6 WEB)
Finally, we want to address the issue of salvation. You mentioned that you want your daughter and granddaughter to surrender to Christ. We encourage you to share the good news of the gospel with them, that Jesus Christ came to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15 WEB), and that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 WEB)
Remind them that if they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead, they will be saved. (Romans 10:9 WEB)
We are praying for you and your family, and we believe that God is going to do a mighty work in your midst. Stay strong in the Lord, and trust in His unfailing love for you.
