We join you in lifting up this individual to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. We are reminded of the scripture in James 5:13-16 (WEB), "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual to You. We pray that Your will be done in his life, and that You would grant him happiness, healing of mind and body. Cast out any spirits of depression, anxiety, or fear that may be troubling him, and fill him with Your peace and joy. Grant him a restful night and a blessed tomorrow, surrounded by Your unfailing love.
We also pray for conviction of any sin that may be hindering his healing and happiness.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for his good and Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and His love never fails. Remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. In the Book of Acts 4:12 (WEB) we read, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is our belief that he has eternal life through believing in Jesus as outlined in John 3:16 (WEB), "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
