We lift up your wife before the Lord, knowing that the stresses of business and the burdens of this world can weigh heavily on the heart and mind. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the perfect peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will rest upon her, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May the Lord grant her wisdom, strength, and clarity as she navigates these challenges, trusting that He is her Provider and Sustainer.
We also pray for peace in your minds, that you both would cast your anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May your home be a place of rest and refuge, where the presence of God is felt and His Word is honored. We ask that the Lord would bless the work of your hands and open doors that no man can shut, providing favor and opportunities that align with His will.
It brings us great joy to hear of the seeds of the Gospel being planted, for the Word of God does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). We pray for the young woman seeking to know more about Christ, that the Lord would draw her to Himself with an undeniable encounter with Jesus. May the Holy Spirit open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that she would repent of her sins and place her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. As it is written in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* We pray that her heart would be softened to receive the truth, and that she would surrender her life to Christ, finding eternal life in Him alone.
We also lift up her husband, that the Lord would equip him to be a godly witness in his home. May he walk in obedience to God’s Word, demonstrating the love, patience, and kindness of Christ. We pray that his life would reflect the transformative power of the Gospel, drawing his wife closer to the Lord. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:1-2, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."*
Finally, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* We stand in agreement with you, trusting that the Lord will move mightily in these situations. May His will be done, and may He receive all the glory.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thankful hearts, lifting up these requests in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You would pour out Your peace, wisdom, and provision upon this wife and husband as they navigate the challenges before them. Lord, we pray for the salvation of this young woman, that she would encounter You in a powerful way and surrender her life to Christ. Strengthen her husband to be a light in their home, reflecting Your love and truth. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in each of these lives.
