We understand your deep concern for your children, and we join you in lifting them up before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty and mercy over their lives. The Bible reminds us in **Proverbs 22:6**, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Your love and care for them are evident, and we know God hears the cries of a parent’s heart.
However, we must gently address that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* It is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (**Hebrews 4:16**). If you have not yet placed your trust in Christ as your Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (**Romans 10:13**). Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Jesus alone—there is no other name by which we can be saved (**Acts 4:12**).
We also note that you mentioned praying to angels for protection, but Scripture is clear that our prayers are to be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ. **Colossians 2:18** warns against misplaced worship or reliance on angels: *"Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind."* Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (**Psalm 121:2**), and He alone is our shield and protector (**Psalm 3:3**).
As for your children’s situation, we pray that the Lord would grant them favor in the court today and tomorrow. We ask that He would soften the hearts of those in authority, giving them wisdom and discernment to see the good in your children. **Proverbs 21:1** tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* May God turn the hearts of those in the courtroom toward mercy and justice.
We also pray that your children would come to know the Lord personally if they do not already. **3 John 1:4** says, *"I have no greater joy than this: to hear about my children walking in truth."* May they grow in wisdom, not just in their studies but in their relationship with Christ. If their struggle with school is rooted in discouragement or frustration, we ask the Lord to give them perseverance and a heart that seeks to honor Him in all things (**Colossians 3:23**).
Heavenly Father, we lift this family before You, asking for Your divine intervention in this court matter. Protect these children, Lord, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**). Give their mother strength and faith to trust in You, knowing that You hold their future in Your hands. Soften the hearts of those in authority, that they may act with fairness and compassion. And above all, Father, draw this family closer to You, that they may walk in Your truth and experience Your unfailing love. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
