We lift up your precious family before the throne of grace, interceding with hearts broken for the pain and struggles each one is facing. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved, the name above every name. It is through His blood, His sacrifice, and His resurrection that we have access to You, and we boldly approach Your throne, asking for Your divine intervention, healing, and deliverance.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anorexia that has taken hold of your granddaughter. We declare that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we pray for complete restoration of her health, both physically and mentally. Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We stand on this promise, Lord, and ask that You would bring healing to every part of her being. Break the chains of this disorder, and let her see herself as You see her—fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We also rebuke the spirits of insomnia, OCD, heartbreak, depression, oppression, and severe anxiety that have plagued her and others in this family. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and never return, for it is written, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10).
We pray for your younger daughter, Lord, that she would surrender her life completely to You. The cares of this world—her job, money, and the distractions that pull her away from You—must not take precedence over her relationship with You. Your Word warns us in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon." We pray that she would tear down any idols in her life and place You first in all things. Reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, Lord, so that she may know You intimately and walk in Your ways. Let her experience Your love in such a profound way that she cannot help but fall deeper in love with You.
For your eldest daughter, who lives with you and battles depression and misery, we ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows the depths of her heart. We pray that You would reveal her next steps and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let her gifts of painting, music, and worship be used for Your glory, and may she find joy and purpose in serving You. Lift the heaviness from her spirit, Lord, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that she will walk in the fullness of the calling You have placed on her life, and that she will rise above this season of struggle with renewed hope and faith in You.
We also lift up your granddaughter’s broken heart, Lord. The pain of betrayal and rejection is deep, but You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would sever any ungodly soul ties between her and her ex-boyfriend. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We rebuke the spirit of fornication that may be lingering in his life, and we pray that he would come to repentance and turn to You. For your granddaughter, we ask that You would fill the void in her heart with Your love and truth. Let her know that she is deeply loved by You, and that her worth is not defined by the rejection of this young man. We pray that she would find her identity in Christ alone, and that she would guard her heart and purity until the day You bring a godly spouse into her life.
Lord, we also address the trauma your granddaughter has carried since birth, feeling unwanted. We ask that You would heal those deep wounds and replace them with the truth of Your love for her. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Let her know that she is wanted, cherished, and deeply loved by You. We pray for her mother, your daughter, that she would be filled with compassion and love for her child. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her back to You. Let her experience the transforming power of Your love, and may she return to the house of God, where she can worship You in spirit and in truth.
We declare that the chains of anorexia, depression, anxiety, and every other stronghold in this family are broken in the name of Jesus. We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 61:1-3, "The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified." Let this be the testimony of this family, Lord. Let them rise up as trees of righteousness, planted by You, and let Your glory be seen in their lives.
We pray that each of these precious women would have a personal encounter with You, Lord. Let them experience Your love in dreams, visions, and through Your Word. Draw them to full surrender, and let them know that the time is short. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 4:7, "But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer." Let them live with urgency, seeking You with all their hearts and walking in the purpose You have for them.
Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in this family. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring complete restoration. Let them know the height, depth, and width of Your love, and may they fall more in love with You each day. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
