Prayers for my spouse to be’s deliverance and breakthrough

Greetings all. Two weeks ago the enemy attacked my spouse to be and I’s relationship’s reunion. Under a great deal of stress, the enemy sowed discourse through misunderstandings to cause her to flee from me and our relationship. I ask for prayers for her to be delivered from the lies, schemes, tactics, and every shape and form of satan that overwhelmed her two weeks ago. In the name of Jesus Christ, I break satan’s power over her, over us, over our relationship, and command the mountain in between us delaying our reconciliation to get out of our way tonight in the full authority of Jesus Christ. I pray a hedge of Lord Jesus’s blood to protect our relationship, and invite the Holy Spirit to be equipped with the prayers I’ve fervently prayed, and ask that He speaks to her tonight, grounding her in truth and in love. Lord Jesus, we ask you to break the bondage of the enemy’s lies against me, and our relationship, and show her what is real, what she knows is true, that our Father Himself made us for one another. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that He rids and casts out and get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice that attacked her and in turn us two weeks ago. Lord please correct her, and show her to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Lord we ask you to return her conscience, her self awareness, and not to harm, spite or hurt her, but correct her and show her the error of her ways, how the enemy caused her to be so evil toward me two weeks ago. Lord Jesus, we ask you to convict her to seek reconciliation with me, not out of obligation, but out of her desire to honor You and the covenant You have placed on her heart. Show her how I reflected the love of Christ throughout the storm that overwhelmed her that night, and how I have forgiven and loved her without falter. Lord Jesus, we invite You into the mess that took place between us two weeks ago, and ask You to do what You alone can do, and perform the miracle of reconciliation between us. To snap her out of the trance the enemy has put her in, to open her eyes so she may see, open her ears so she may hear, and remove the callousness from her heart so she may understand with it, and have mercy on us, soften her heart to me Lord Jesus and deliver her, and restore our relationship. Please Lord, return what the enemy attempted to steal from us in the form of our relationships reunion. In your name Jesus Christ, we praise You and thank you for the miracles You are performing, have performed, and will perform to ensure our victory in this battle we’re still fighting, that You have already won. In Jesus might name, Amen

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting up your future spouse and your relationship before the throne of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every scheme of the devil, declaring that no weapon formed against your relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers and protects your union, and we command every spirit of division, confusion, and strife to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We rebuke the lies that have been sown in her heart and mind. The enemy is the father of lies, but Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal the truth to her, grounding her in the love and promises of God. May she be reminded of the covenant that God has placed on both of your hearts, for what God has joined together, let no man, or spirit, separate (Matthew 19:6).

Father, we ask You to break every chain of bitterness, rage, anger, and malice that has taken root in her heart. Your Word commands us to get rid of all such things and to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ You forgave us (Ephesians 4:31-32). We pray that she would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to seek reconciliation with you, not out of obligation, but out of a desire to honor You and the relationship You have ordained.

Lord, we invite You into the midst of this storm. You are the God who calms the seas and stills the winds (Mark 4:39). We ask You to perform a miracle of reconciliation, to open her eyes and ears to see and hear the truth. Remove the callousness from her heart and soften it toward you, that she may understand with her heart and turn, and be healed (Isaiah 6:10). May she see how you have reflected the love of Christ, forgiving and loving her without falter, even in the midst of the storm.

We declare that the enemy has no power over your relationship. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We stand on the promise that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by our Father in heaven (Matthew 18:19). Together, we agree in faith that this mountain of division will be removed, and your relationship will be restored.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We praise You for the miracles You are performing, have performed, and will perform to ensure that your relationship is restored and strengthened. May your love for one another grow more and more, overflowing with knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10).

We pray all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Keep your heart pure and your actions aligned with God’s Word, reflecting the love and forgiveness of Christ. The enemy may have attacked, but he will not prevail. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We’re walking with you in this painful time. It’s deeply disorienting when someone you love pulls away after a sudden conflict, and it’s natural to look for a spiritual explanation when the rupture feels so overwhelming. We understand the urgency you feel, and we join you in asking Jesus to protect and heal what has been torn.

While we don’t discount spiritual opposition, sometimes the darkest moments in a relationship begin with ordinary stress and misunderstanding amplified by fear. That doesn’t make the hurt any less real, but it can free us from feeling we must command a single dramatic breakthrough. Often God works through a quieter process: giving someone space to breathe, letting raw emotions settle, and allowing clarity to return gradually.

Right now, the most loving thing may be to give her the room she seems to need. A posture of patient, steady love, without pressing for immediate reconciliation, can be a more powerful witness than many words. During this waiting, use the solitude to examine your own heart before the Lord, asking Him to show you anything you may have missed. And don’t walk this alone; lean on a mature, trusted friend or mentor who can pray with you and offer an outside perspective.

Your commitment to forgive and keep loving without falter is a true reflection of Christ. That steadfastness, held in faithfulness, is never wasted. Whether healing comes swiftly or over time, you are sowing seeds that can bear fruit when the soil is ready.

Jesus, we lift this man and his beloved to You. Quiet the fog of confusion and resentment that has driven them apart. If there are real deceptions at work, silence them. Grant him strength to wait without despair, and gently draw her toward a sound mind and a softened heart. Open a door to honest conversation and restoration, if it is Your will. Guard them both from bitterness, and let Your own love be the foundation they rebuild on. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

I hear the agony of a soul that has tasted the gall of the enemy’s malice, and I read a prayer that seizes upon the promises of God with a mighty grip. Yet, take heed: the deliverance you seek is not conjured by the fervor of your commands, nor by your breaking of satan's power, as if a man could break the chain which only the pierced hand of Christ can unshackle. Our God delights to work deliverance in His own time, and often that time is when we have ceased our own struggling and have learned to be still before Him. As I have said, “Deliverance from sin is solely by the power of God!” and the same is true of the restoration of any earthly bond. He brought Israel forth with silver and gold, they did not snatch themselves from Pharaoh’s grip. Wait, then, upon the Lord.

You plead for the snapping of a trance and the opening of blind eyes, and well you might, for the enemy is a master of the cruel art of soul-wounding. But remember this: his assaults are often overruled by the Lord and made to work for our good. David learned that what men meant for malice, God employed as loving chastisement. Even so, this storm that has overwhelmed your beloved may be the very furnace in which the dross of self-reliance is burned away, that she might be fitted for a purer love, a holier covenant. Your prayer casts the discord wholly upon the enemy, but consider: the Lord may be dealing with her in a secret way, and the noise of your insistence might drown the still, small voice that would lead her to repentance and peace.

What, then, are you to do? Lay this weight where it belongs, at the feet of the Great Reconciler. He who looked upon Peter in the hour of his denial used a cock’s crow and a glance to bring floods of penitent tears. That look of Christ severed Peter from the mocking crowd; so a single beam of divine light can pierce the soul of your beloved and sever her from every lying imagination. But that is Christ’s work, not yours. The ministry of reconciliation is committed unto us only as we speak the word He has given, not as we attempt to force the hand of the Almighty by our own commands. You ask the Lord to correct her, to show her, to convict her, good. Now leave the means to Him. Beg Him to grant you the spirit that fell on Jacob’s heart when he crossed Jabbok expecting a bloodthirsty foe and found a brother’s embrace. Prayer is your Jabbok; the wrestling is yours, but the issue belongs to God.

Beware of a bitterness of your own that masquerades as righteous zeal. You say you have forgiven and loved without falter, yet the heart that rehearses another’s evil so minutely may be nursing a root of resentment. The Lord has chastened you sorely, perhaps, that you might learn to love without clutching, to trust without dictating. For He has found a ransom for all our deliverances, the sin that made us His enemies and the brokenness of human loves alike are healed at the cross. Is it not written, “He counts me for His enemy, He puts my feet in the stocks”? Yet He is gracious. Yield your cause into such hands. Cry to Him, “Deliver me from this despondency, for I can do nothing and I know it!” Then will His free grace appear.

I charge you, therefore, to cease from the warfare of words and the breaking of imagined chains. Go to your chamber and let your request be made known with thanksgiving, not as one giving orders to the Most High, but as a suppliant whose only plea is the blood of the covenant. If the Lord restore this union, it will be to His glory and your humbling. If He does not, at least not as you now desire, still He will be your portion, and you shall find that even this loss was a delivering mercy. The life that is hid with Christ in God cannot be ransacked by the enemy beyond the reach of our Father’s restorative love. Stand still, and see the salvation of God. He who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, can make all grace abound toward you in the hour of His appearing. Until then, let the high praises of God be in your mouth, and a patient, believing silence in your heart.

Your prayer reveals a soul in anguish, but I perceive in it a certain confusion that must be addressed for your own healing. You speak much of the enemy and his schemes, yet the true bondage from which any soul must be delivered is not the bondage of circumstance or another person's will, but the bondage of sin. What does it profit to command a mountain to move if the heart remains enslaved to fear and the need to control? The Jews of old boasted they had never been in bondage to any man, yet Christ showed them they were slaves to sin, which is the most grievous slavery, from which God alone can deliver. Do not be overly troubled by outward events, for the enemy you perceive is no longer terrible, but has been trodden under foot and made of no account. Why then do you shudder as though he still had power?

Consider also the matter of deliverance itself. You cry out for her to be snapped from a trance and returned to you, yet the Scriptures show us others who were tortured and would not accept deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. When it was open to them to live, they did not choose it, because they were looking for a better life. If this woman has fled, perhaps God in His wisdom is working something deeper than the reunion you demand. Would you have her return out of obligation rather than a true work of grace? That is not the miracle of reconciliation, but the coercion of a fearful heart.

Learn rather from the Apostle, who spoke of an affliction that befell him in Asia, that he was weighed down exceedingly, beyond his power. In that place he did not spend his words commanding the trial to depart, but he showed the manner of his deliverance, teaching that God brings us through such straits to trust not in ourselves but in Him. Your many words and declarations of authority betray a soul wearied under a weight you cannot lift. Cease striving as though the battle were yours to win by fervent speech alone.

And what is to be your posture in this sorrow? Look to the Master, who in the very night of His betrayal gave thanks to the Father, teaching us that whatever we may suffer, we are to bear it thankfully, suggesting good hopes thereby. He was delivered up for the benefit of our race, and His type was a deliverance from bondage. Will He not then, who gave Himself, freely give what is needed for your soul and hers? Take, eat of His broken body, and find there a table far more awful than the one from which you now feel barred. There is your true reunion. Seek first to be delivered yourself from bitterness masked as righteous indignation, and leave her soul to the only One who can forgive sins, a work that belongs to none other.

Your prayer reveals a heart that deeply desires restoration, and there's no doubt the pain of this rupture is real. Yet whenever I hear a plea so filled with commands and declarations, breaking this, commanding that, demanding mountains move, I wonder if the anxiety of the situation is pushing you back toward a kind of legal relationship with God, rather than a loving one. The Father doesn't want you to relate to Him as if He were a reluctant judge you have to convince with the right formulas or forceful words. He's invited you to cry out, "Abba, Father", to know Him in an intimate, trusting relationship where you're no longer a slave to fear.

Think about that. When you know you are His child, truly known and loved, the frantic attempt to control the outcome of another person's heart begins to lose its grip. A right relationship with God is the vertical axis upon which every other relationship turns. If that axis is out of balance, if your prayer life becomes an anxious striving to make God do something rather than resting in who He already is, then your horizontal relationships will wobble too. Spend too much energy trying to force that one relationship into place, and you'll find everything else tilting off-center. Better to come back to the vertical: seek the Lord for Himself, not just for what He can do in her.

You mentioned the enemy's lies and a "trance." But no one can be argued back into love, and no demon can be commanded out of a human will that chooses to harden itself. God doesn't override that will; He woos, corrects, and convicts. The Spirit does His deepest work not through our insistence but through our quiet trust. When you are securely rooted in a loving relationship with your Father, when you've stopped treating Him as a means to an end, then you can entrust the outcome entirely to Him. He knows what real reconciliation looks like, and He knows whether it is built on truth or on a rushed, forced peace.

Notice that the ancient Israelites were delivered from the bondage of Egypt only to enter a new relationship with God, a journey of trust through the wilderness. They didn't escape one master just to manipulate the next step. So too, you've been delivered from the bondage of a legal, works-driven standing with God, don't slide back into that by treating prayer as a technique to get your way. The loving relationship you have with Him is far superior. Because He loves you, you can rest. You can ask, wait, and let Him work, knowing that He will bring about what is best, even if it's painful for a season.

Right now, your focus may be fixed on what you're asking the Lord to do in her conscience. But I'd invite you to ask the Lord first to deepen your own consciousness of His presence, to fill you with such a sense of being loved by Him that you no longer need to clutch at the outcome. When your relationship with God is right, you'll have a right relationship with every other part of life, including this one. You'll be able to forgive fully, to wait patiently, and to speak truth without the fear of losing something. And if reconciliation comes, it will be a fruit that grows naturally out of that abiding peace, not out of a frantic command. Let the Spirit speak to her while you fix your own heart's anchor in your Father's love. That is the ground from which all true freedom springs.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your spouse’s deliverance and the breakthrough in your relationship. It has been on our hearts to intercede for her freedom from the enemy’s lies, for the restoration of truth, and for the softening of her heart toward reconciliation. We have prayed in agreement with you, breaking every stronghold of bitterness, confusion, and division, and we have asked the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in her life, speaking truth and love into her spirit.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers—if you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of His work in her heart or in your situation—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Your testimony would encourage so many who are also waiting on God’s miracles. But if the battle still rages and the enemy’s tactics seem unshaken, we want you to know we are still standing with you. Please post this request again, and we will continue to lift you both up, declaring God’s victory over every scheme of the enemy.

We pray that the Lord would strengthen your faith as you wait, that He would remind you of His faithfulness, and that He would fill you with peace that surpasses understanding. May He continue to work in your spouse’s heart, removing every lie, restoring her conscience, and drawing her back to you with a spirit of humility and love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that He who began a good work in your marriage will bring it to completion. Amen.
