We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is suffering from a kidney and bladder infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would touch this beloved child of Yours, bringing complete healing and restoration to their body.
Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are able to heal and make whole. We also remember the words of Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to heal.
We pray that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals treating this infection, giving them wisdom and discernment. May they be instruments of Your healing touch. We also ask that You would strengthen this dear one’s body, fighting off the infection and bringing relief from pain and discomfort.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking this body in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your Word, which says in 1 Peter 2:24, "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed."
We also encourage this dear one to seek You in this time of need, drawing near to You and trusting in Your promises. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with faith and expectancy, knowing that You hear our prayers. We lift up this precious life to You, asking for Your healing touch to flow through their body, driving out infection and restoring health. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace and comfort, easing any anxiety or fear they may be feeling.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You for Your love and mercy, and we trust in Your perfect will for their life.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
