Prayers For My Son

My 16 year old son had a stroke a year ago. He has suffered both physically and emotionally but has made great strides and has regained his ability to play sports again. Today he finds out if he made the baseall team. Normally I would not send a prayer request so that he makes the team but this is different. THe coaches last year were fearful of having him on the team and this year we are afraid that they will continue with this thougth and not allow my son to show that he is totally capable of returning to the sport that he loves. It would mean so much to him to be "normal" again. Through all of this he has not lost faith and I pray that God will touch the hearts of coaches and touch the heart of my son so that if he is not able to make the team that he can find peace but I pray that God will see this as a means to show his love and to help with getting my son even more healed.

Lord we know that You are working in this young man's heart and healing him when it looked impossible. we give You thanks for making him whole and worthy. we know that he is going to be in sports and would like the spirit of protection to surround him at all times. we pray that this miracle will be a witness to others especially his coaches. we glorify Your name. AMEN!

Father, I stand with these prayers for this young man, I thank You for the recovery he has made. I pray now for this son to be able to pursue the sport that he loves. Be with him Father, keep him strongly in Your hands and touch the lives of others through him. Bless him in what he does Lord and in You Son's name of Jesus, Amen.
